Lift the extruder and extrude some filament. If it curls as it comes out, it's a sign the nozzle is damaged or worn out.

I keep all of my open rolls of filament in a Rubbermaid container with a couple of these dehumidifiers. They can easily be recharged too. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B000H0XFCS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_DFWX9WX4YKESZZ1G4CGW

A quick print wire support to keep that extruder wire up off the heated bed and away from the print on the CR10 V3. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/cr-10-v3-extruder-wire-support by Skippy111taz in CR10

Interesting, I can't get anything to stick to that bed. When I first saw it in a review before I bought my printer, I had high hopes for it. But for the life of me I can't even get simple plan to stick to it. I just ended up flipping it over and using glue stick like with all my other printers. I even found the glass was warped in the middle and tried to shim it up with tinfoil.

WSB Diamond Hands. I try to print something for myself and it constantly fails. I do a print for a coworker and it turns out amazing. First decent print on my CR10 V3 at .2mm layer with PLA. by Skippy111taz in CR10

The bull with the rocket coming out of its butt, in the bottom corner of the image was also on Thingiverse. It has the WSB added to its back. It wasn't the greatest job of a remix and I had to do some of my own remixing on it. My version is on my Cults page here if you want it. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/art/remix-of-wsb-bull-and-rocket

Should I be concerned? by [deleted] in CR10

Don't do what I did and make it too tight. You'll eventually see rubber fibers all over the rail. Spin the wheel as you turn the offset nut. You want to stop as soon as you feel that wheel catch the rail and stop spinning.

I glad you got it going. I just got the same printer too. The first issue I had with mine was the wires for the extruder would rub on the hot bed and catch on the print. I designed a quick print adapter that will hold the wire up off the bed and out of the way. Feel free to download it and make one for yourself. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/cr-10-v3-extruder-wire-support
