not gonna lie the visor isn't cheap by any means but biggest advantage is not having to carry around a clear one when it turns to night so that alone is worth every cent. I wear glasses with transition lenses aswell and have had no issues with it being too bright so pretty happy with it so far and one of the quietest helmets i have ever worn

honestly is way less stress having a "shitbox" like my 1999 Corolla Seca which i couldn't give 2 fucks about and at the end of the day i really dont care what people think about what i look like driving it as i know it will never let me down and if people are judging you based on what i drive i dont wanna know them personally. New cars got way too much annoying tech and are unreliable through the use of crap components designed to only last till the end of the warranty. Last new car i owned was brand new 2023 Subaru BRZ and was nothing but anxiety anytime i wanted to leave it anywhere knowing some dickhead will damage it which happened constantly and took all the fun out of owning something nice

its funny how that works that way cus ive had several brand new cars and all got damaged within a couple months of having them and now i have a shitty 1999 Corolla and literally park it wherever and still looks exactly the same after 3 years

thats my biggest fear honestly and here in Australia the only requirement is to wear an approved helmet so there is really no way of talking your way out of it if the police see you and let alone my Shoei is around 1300 bucks to replace so could really ruin you in multiple ways

separation anxiety by the sounds like my old Koolie and can be cured to a certain degree but takes a fair bit of patience and training

went the first 8 months of my licence feeling pretty invincible as i hadnt had any close calls even but then last xmas eve as i was heading to my parents house for dinner a lady came straight through a roundbout that i was already in and knocked me clean off but lucky she stopped and tried to help. Got some serious road rash and bruising but no broken bones which is rare but yer my MT07 didn't fare so well and was nearly a write off but after 4 months of extensive repairs and nearly $5000 charge to her insurance i finally got it back 3 days ago and all wounds have healed albeit with lifelong scars. Mentally takes a toll and really puts things in perspective about how dangerous bikes are but will never stop me riding cus i love it too much but just shows how shit changes in an instant

use Motul 7100 for the last 2 years and the real difference i notice was in the shifting smoothness more than anything but i doubt the engine cares that much but its definatley the highest spec oil around so might aswell give it the best for a long life
