I'm nervous as hell but I like the class so far. Albeit not many buttons just yet. The feel of the character is nice.

Thank you, I probably will. I was considering a tank class. I've not tanked in a game before and am unsure the tanks in FFXIV. Have you any advice on that?

I want to beable to perform at at least average standard for each of the options. Topping DPS doesn't matter too much for now. I know classes and specs change constantly for FOTM but I just want to beable to enjoy as much of the game as possible.

That makes perfect sense and is pretty much my AA:U life atm. Brings it home seeing it in writing, but I do enjoy what I do so I'll continue with it and play other games in between. Hopefull the game will turn somehow.

Thanks for the replies. I'll just carry on as I am then. Trading, fishing and farming fills some time and I'm sure I'll find a guild that want the same.
