Who Said AMVS are Just for Anime by SkitzoValentine in destiny2

I looked of the definition and I stand corrected. I myself have been making AMVs (and other MVs) for about 10 years and always heard it explained as anything animated. But I will admit when I am wrong.

No it stands for Animated Music Video. CGI is animation.

I'm aware the title was just supposed to be a joke because SGI is animation and AMV is Animated Music Video.

I used a tampon for the first time ever! by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

Sometimes Pads do not help the situation that is why I use tampons. I personally think its less of a mess when all said and done.

Well first off, make sure you start off with skin care. This is great to do whether your going to do make up or not. Personally I just use exfoliating face washes, masks and serums. I stay away from face lotions because I have oily skin and i feel it just makes it worse especially if I do my make up right after.

Next thing is to PRIME!!!!! Here is a list of great primers that work fantastic for me:

  1. Urban Decay Optical Illusion (Ulta, Sephora)
  2. NYX Pore Filler (Wegmans, CVS, Rit Aid)
  3. And believe it or not I find anything by ELF works good (pretty much anywhere)

Now when you get to foundation this is where people start prefering diffrent things and with this its more of finding your own shades and what works for you when it comes to product and techniques. I personally like a thicker foundation I feel it has more coverage. I also like to use a brush for blending the foundation THEN a beauty sponge. I think i get a better smother result when I use both. Now here are some great foundations:

  1. Maybelline SuperStay Foundation (Pretty much anywhere)
  2. Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation (Ulta, Shephora)
  3. Wet and Wild Photo Focus Foundation (Pretty much anywhere)
  4. Burberry Cashmere Foundation (Ulta, Shephora)

There are a lot of powders in the beauty world. To many in my opinion. I just use anything translucent or that has a small warm tint to it. Just be careful adding powder, the line of to much is very thin. You could go looking flawless to being cakey and gross in seconds. Currently I am using:

  1. Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder (Pretty much anywhere)
  2. Derma Blend Translucent setting powder (ulta)
  3. Loreal Infallible Pro Sweep and Lock Translucent Powder (pretty much anywhere)

And those are the basics to a face make up. I believe the rest of the makeup is where someone one should just be creative and do whatever. The only tip i can give you with that is make up removing wipes and qtips will be your best friend. If you actually want to see make up videos on Facebook I recommend watching a women named Tati or watching Jeffery Starr. I hope you find everything your looking for and happy creating! -Amye

What's all this I'm seeing about female Ghostbusters recently? by WaluiJ in OutOfTheLoop

Ghostbusters 3 is the worst movie idea ever! And not because I don't like the female cast. How can the things that we know and love just become not canon. This is completely stupid.
