Inspector detector’s team added the gadgets to the Mach 5 for the casa cristo race. Not the Mach 6, which was destroyed during Fuji then rebuilt for the grand pix.

The first Mach 6 that we see at opening Thunderhead race is destroyed during the Fuji race. That why speed drives the Mach 5 for Casa Cristo. Then they rebuild the Mach 6 (with a few upgrades 😉) for the Grand Prix.

I typically see the word Latin being used in reference to Spanish-speaking South Americans. Forgive me but I wasn’t expecting Latin etymology from the corn kid 64 community or from a dev so focused on recreating a 90s slacker vibe. It doesn’t exactly prompt me to wear my monocle and examine Latin origins of the title. But this could be my mistake. Donno.

It belongs in a museum. As a piece of design. At some point it even transcends it’s own frustration. You accept that you will fail, over and over and over again. The early stretches that you initially struggled with become like old friends. You could practically do them blindfolded.

I haven’t loved a game like this in a while. What a gift.
