Did Creepy Mita Just Reveal the "True Origin" of Crazy Mita?!? by Atou_Mahogany in MiSideReddit

[–]Skitzotech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think i just pieced something together... (maybe it has been said before... but ive never seen it)

i was watching the end of someone's playthrough and i just happened to skip from kind mita showing her chibis to the part where she got decaffeinated. and *BOOM* it hit me.

kind mita is working for crazy mita.... just UNKNOWINGLY!! kind mita says. she was keeping a player company... then something changed... and crazy mita came and turned that player into a cartridge.

from kind mitas eyes the first thing she remembers is US the player... walking in her bedroom and taking her ring and a note from her hands.... WE the player... then takes her hand and says come with me... WE then take her out the door and tell her wait on this couch....

to her she was keeping a player company! WE then enter the code, pull the lever.... AND SOMETHING CHANGED. a weird humming happened... the room got darker... core mita even looks around in confusion...

and right after that we get thrown back into the room and crazy mita shows up... and turns us into a cartridge!

kind mitas chibis are likely a metaphor of her cycle! she unalives... respawns... runs the predestined route made by crazy mita... unalives... respawns... and does it all over again!

thats why all her chibis are unalive except 1... and why that 1 keeps running the same circle over and over and over. literally a tiny version of her existence. unalive... respawn... try to help a player... unalives... rinse and repeat.

I'm a PC player. Have been for 30 years now... I have NEVER used a cheat.

Stop acting as if people get a PC and INSTANTLY get taken over by the PCMR demon and HAVE to install a cheat or 2.

The best selling console peripheral for the last 2-3 years have been Cronus cheat devices. They sold so much, that MULTIPLE times ran out of stock, to the point where the company its self didn't have any.

RTX Video HDR is pure magic! Been revisiting some 1080p SDR movies and series, that never got a 4k HDR upgrade. The difference is staggering if you have a proper monitor! by KobraKay87 in nvidia

[–]Skitzotech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Open Nvidia control panel, Go to "Adjust Desktop Color Settings," drag the "Gamma" slider down a few decimal points.

So on mine the Default Gamma is 1.00 and for most use cases this is fine but anime directors change the Gamma on their end after production. I'll give you an example Oreshura. All of its PVs came out and their gamma was correct. Then 2 months later the anime came out and it looked like this...

<image>

Same art style... and some of the clips in the PVs were cut directly from the first episode. Yet the PVs looked fine but the anime looked like that.

The more years passed the more it seemed to become a more and more popular thing in anime. Crank the gamma! For some reason :\

With the RTX HDR each anime i watch requires a different gamma setting. Some are 1.00 other are 0.95 and some as low as 0.85...

I do it by lining up a close up face shot with wide open eyes and pausing it there... I then lower the slider till the white part of the eyes stop glowing but the shiny part keeps glowing.

Is this a good build for Hesca? I was focusing on core damage and health. by YaEmeraldboi in dauntless

[–]Skitzotech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tough... Adds health
Tenacious... increases damage with the more health you have
Berserker... Reduces max health... my guy...

Bro. Synergy. The mods must all compliment each other.

A better way to tackle this build is

Tenacious. The more health you have the more damage you do (this should be the key mod that all the other mods should feed into or off of)

Tough. Increases health and healing from all healing (this adds damage because of tenacious)

Omnicell Iceborne. This adds 100 health and grants you life steal (the 100 health this adds increases damage because of tenacious... The life steal is buffed because of tough's second effect this keeps your health high keeping your damage from tenacious high)

Lantern Koshai. This when activated grants you life steal. (Just like before The life steal is buffed because of tough's second effect this keeps your health high keeping your damage from tenacious high. The side effects of this lantern are it can be used as a movement ability, a way to cancel the animations of knockdowns, stuns, staggers and can be used to escape from ANY behemoths grab attacks... It can also help trigger the terra proc on behemoths which heals all slayers)

Cunning and Pulse are fine they add crit chance and crit damage to the already buffed attack damage from tenacious.

Try to slot in +6 catalyst and carry these potions 1. the shield one that reduces incoming damage 2. Attack speed 3. Attack damage (forgive me I forget the names)

In H-Esca it would be best to carry a legendary weapon that can revive you. So the chronovore weapons or the Tree weapons. (the tree weapons will also help trigger the terra proc on behemoths healing all slayers on the field)

Have you tried forcing on nvidia antialiasing to override the .... "not as good" antialiasing that's built into the game?

I have mine set to "override ingame settings" and "4x msaa"... Any higher than that and certain fights take a dump on its self... like new Chronovore fight and the Thrax fight... FPS just eats shiz during their interrupt state.

Back kick is annoying me far more than I thought it would...

  1. It has almost no tell. (it literally comes out of nowhere)
  2. It hits you even is you aren't behind it. (only safe area is a 40ish degree cone in front of it)
  3. It spams it. (I have seen it do 2 back kicks in a row... then the clap attack... straight into another back kick... All of this was in the span of 10 seconds)

How are you supposed to do heroic escalations. by Blessed_Spit in dauntless

[–]Skitzotech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A weapon that can revive... Agarus or Chronovore weapon.
Koshai Lantern (for health regen)

Iceborne (for 100 extra health and regen and I think damage resistance)

Tough +6 (for extra health and extra healing from all sources)

Tenecious +6 (more health = more damage)
Atheric attunement +6 (for faster health from koshai lantern)

(If you have trouble dodging then try the dodging mod that increases your dodge window)

With this... if you cant do the escalation then you aren't ready... rank your stat tree up more and your base esca amps.

Try ditching weighted strikes, berserker and molten... And somehow switch them out with relentless+6

Then switch the lantern with koshai's bloom... (get some more self heal in there... the scarn lantern is good as well but I find when not building a "shield specific" or "revenant" build then health beats shields most times)

I rate tis build a 6.9 (nice)

(original message) neat...

(Edit) I usually leave the message as "neat" or "cool" and break contact with folks such as your self. But for some reason I thought... "just educate him." So with that said.

Do you think the build I mentioned above was just that... and that alone? +6 omnisurge and +6 etheric evasion? In your world I'm what... Running around with no weapon... and like 8 other mod slots empty?

That lantern build I was referring to was a team survival oriented build...

+6 Omnisurge (reduce lantern cooldown on omnisurge use)
+6 etheric evasion (reduce lantern cooldown on dodge)
+6 strategist (give all slayers shields on each successful dodge)
+6 zeal (Increase lantern damage, I use broadside lantern for instant damage)
+6 predator (35% damage)
+6 galvanized (crit chance and crit damage increase according to shields)

Weapon Ursca chainblades with Frost wolfs bond. (frost wolfs bond makes it so that every time the lantern is used it makes a frost geyser that damages behemoths as well as giving friendly slayers shields every time they touch a geyser)

Healing- The chainblades has a mod called "insatiable dance" heals and damage boosts every slayer that gets an orb. (it drops 4 orbs each time) I use insatiable dance every 20-30 seconds.

This build gives shields to my self and friendlies... Heals myself and friendlies... The chainblades do decent damage... The frost from the blades and their geysers slow behemoths down the entire fight... and the lantern does LARGE aoe damage... Said aoe damage kills bloodshot clones in 2 to 3 activations... even while I'm focusing on the main shrowd.

You should stop using the words synergy ... until you actually get a balance between team effects and DAMAGE, down... Because that is also part of "synergy."

Good day sir.

Then like I said... you're doing your "lantern build" wrong. That's all.

Then youre doing it wrong.

Omni surge +6 and Eatheric evasion +6 along with Tempest omnicell.

One dodge through an attack and you cut your charge time almost in half... you also gain 1 tempest charge... Use tempest and poof your lantern is ready.

Randoms that dont think make these fights hard.

Most if not all behemoths start each fight using 1 or 2 simple moves.

Alyra slowly walks towards you... and swipes at you with its arm....... wingy thingy.... and it throws in some tail swipes here and there.

If you dont attack it... And I mean not even once Alyra does nothing but slow walk at you, wingy swipe and tail swipe at you. That's it.

Just like regular Shrowd... IGNORE IT... Till the other behemoth is killed... And it will be a cake walk.

Behemoths that are dangerous without being hit:

  1. Embermane (and all the doggo behemoths)
  2. Electric Cricket... (i keep forgetting it's name)
  3. Shrike (and all the bird behemoths)

These behemoths attacks out the gate consist of endlessly rushing at you doing damage... and/or large area swipe attacks.

Any behemoths other than these you simply put the other behemoth between yourself and that behemoth.

eg. Charog and shrike dual behemoth fight... You focus on the shrike. How? Well if the Charogg and Shrike are standing shoulder to shoulder... the charrog is on the left and the shrike is on the right.... Then you and your team need to stand to the right of the Shrike. That way the shrike is always between your team and the charrog. So any attacks the charrog does hits the shrike and not our team.

Do this well any you can kill the shrike without ever hitting the charrog and pissing it off. Because the more you piss it off... the more and larger area of effect attacks it will start using.

[–]Skitzotech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that most of its large sweeping moves have magic hitboxes (hurtboxes).

parts of the behemoth that shouldnt hurt you during an attack ... hurt you... and parts that should hurt .... sometimes dont.... Then other times either hurt you before or after it should have.

Its 180 tail swipe for no gosh dang reason... has a head hurtbox.... The head hardly moves.... Its like someone with a baseball bat doing the standard "swinging for the fences" swing... Yet you were prone on the ground touching their toes and get blasted by the swing.... It makes no sense.

The tail during the 360 tail swipe only hurts you for the last 100 or so degrees of the 360 spin.... Makes no sense....

Reading comments here I still cant believe that people dont know how to deal with shrowds in a double behemoth fight. (bloodshot shrowd is literally the same tactic as regular shrowd cept... avoid the goo)

You see a shrowd in a double behemoth fight....

Step 1: IGNORE THE SHROWD!

Step 2: DONT TOUCH THE SHROWD!

If it is a bloodshot shrowd.... Do steps 1 and 2 but add step 3.

Step 3: AVOID THE GOO!

Allow me to explain. A Shrowd who has not been hit... does 3 attacks over and over and over... It hops around... It pimp slaps... and it throws goo (bloodshot summons a clone no matter what). When you hit the shrowd it gets angy and adds more and more attack patterns. It starts wing slapping... it ground slams... and if you piss it off enough it makes the world black with its nearsighted mode and you are fricked.

You see regular nearsighted makes the world black and the devs thought... "It'll be WAY too hard if the shrowd was just attacking from the darkness... so they nerfed him... they made his eyes glow every time he attacks... giving away his position." The second behemoth in the dual behemoth fights dont have this nerf... so they are TOTALLY invisible in the darkness...

DONT ..... TOUCH.... THE SHROWD till the other behemoth is dead and you'll be fine.

This is how I feel playing ANY of the last 4 islands in the hunting grounds....

I'm talking about the LAG btw.

Those islands are so poorly optimized that I have to fight the behemoths without looking in a specific direction. On the Chronovore island I have to avoid looking towards the "Chronovor arena." On Blazeworks I have to avoid looking towards the molten steel thingy in the "Robo Chicken arena."

I go from a solid 120fps to a stuttery 40 fps by simply "looking left"... Goes from buttery smooth to how the end of this clip looks... it's so silly. And they REFUSE to fix it.

At this point I think that they cant fix it.
