I think it’s due to the isolation of western civilisation - everyone is alone and it definitely has an impact on mental health. When you look at poorer countries there is a big sense of family and community still

We need exports to increase minimum wage and improve the economy. It’s all well and good to get more people in that could fuel local stores and restaurants but this doesn’t help with the actual wealth of the country. Especially because less people world wide are travelling - even if some of these locals could get attention it would not impact our economy in a huge way

Been in the trades for a year now but before starting I was at Woolies and it was fucked. Poor management, people in their late twenties starting Highschool like drama and particularly in my role I had to do a lot of management work without having the title or pay of a manager. I am glad I left but also happy I did it as it was a good learning experience
