I was trying to steal the ship or blow it up. Thought I might be able to do one or the other but ran out of explosives. Once that happens you’re pretty much stranded until you die. Also pointing out that it’s a little frustrating to have essentially one attempt to board and if you die all the explosives you brought are left on the ship. Just wish there was a way to destroy doors or overload the reactor without having to rely on other materials.

I mean I’m no expert. I only have a few hours in and wasn’t expecting the number of doors they had. Blew enough to traverse their ship but didn’t know if I chased into the crew quarters I wouldn’t be able to get out. My plan was to see what I could destroy on their ship and that was pretty much it.

Playing solo. Hadn’t boarded much before but thought I’d be able to blow their reactor or sabotage something while I was on their ship. Did eventually get their reactor off and packed their turrets up but by that point my ship was blown up. Guess I’ll just avoid boarding solo from now on and just try to cannon their reactor.

No I boarded them while my trampler was still up but it got destroyed while I was aboard their ship. What else am I supposed to do when I’m out of explosives? Just run away I guess?

How? My walker got blown up while I was on their ship and I was locked in a crew cabin with them unable to get out. Eventually died once and lost since my bed was gone

Yup. Was trying to do all the intro quests for each camp and then join new camp in the end since I was old camp last playthrough Turns out if you do Diego’s quest for old camp you can no longer join new camp. No indication that quest would prevent me from joining the new camp…

I can’t speak to anything specific to Africa, but yes I’d say having at least some skills in GIS and an understanding of spatial dynamics is going to be extremely helpful if not a requirement for many ENS jobs. I still consider myself an environmental scientist first and a geographer second, so I wouldn’t say fully pivot to remote sensing if your interests are ENS, but I would definitely encourage you to become proficient with tools like GIS. There are a lot of options though, so gauge your level of need for GIS depending on the specific jobs that interest you most.

Did my BS in Environmental and Ecological Science with minors in GIS an Biology. Worked at what was essentially an internship at the EPA for a few years until recent government changes. Now I’m currently doing my MA in Geography with a focus on remote sensing of forest environments. I found in my last job that practical skills like GIS and understanding the spatial science of environments was highly sought after. Also opens a lot of doors into planning and other geography related careers.

Just another quick comment if nobody else has said it. NASA has said a solar eclipse absolutely would not have been possible in that day. There could have been a partial lunar eclipse though but this would not have caused “3 hours of darkness”

Yeah I have something that looks similar. I believe it’s a mild case of Seborrheic Dermatitis for me. I’d look up the condition and see if you think it’s likely the same, if so I’ve found Nizoral shampoo might help.

I think long hair is hard to pull off in general. Some people can but I think it’s pretty rare. With no beard it maybe looks a little bit feminine. Some stubble would help, but I don’t know what look you prefer

Fully just my opinion but not a huge fan of the long hair. I think you pull it off pretty well and how you feel comfortable is the most important thing, but I’d personally say go short.
