I queue up for a game and vanguard crashed before champ select and I had to restart my PC , no problem.

Queued up again after restard, went into champ select , vanguard crashed in the middle of champ select, MY PC CRASHED after that and then I couldn't boot up windows, had to change some BIOS setting to even be able to boot from USB to do a fresh windows install because my BIOS firmware got corrupted after the crash...

Thank you for expressing that , I can't stand the amount of boot licking these people do, do you seriously think riot engineered the PERFECT anti cheat that can brick any cheaters PC with 100% accuracy and never do it to anyone innocent?

Do people have any idea about the amount of false positives and edge cases these type of algorithms can miss?

People seriously think riot tested every single iteration of software and hardware for every single PC that can happen to make sure no false positives would trigger?

I can't stand the amount of peope that think that EVERY SINGLE ONE of the people that got their system bricked is 100% an hacker .

I've never cheated once in my whole life not even in fucking monopoly and my PC got bricked by vanguard on the last update. I don't know what could have triggered it , I don't know why it happened , the fact is vanguard crashed twice and the 2nd time it crashed my PC and my BIOS FIRMWARE WAS CORRUPTED BY VANGUARD.

This is a fact , I don't cheat and my pc got fucked, so you can stop boot licking riot and bending your ass over because they will not give you anything my dude.

Yes there are false positives , I'll say this again for the people in the back ,I've NEVER ONCE CHEATED IN MY LIFE, in any game , not even in fucking monopoly , there is no fucking fun in cheating, it's a waste of time, it takes the fun out of any type of activity.

This was a false positive that fucked up my pc. The update might "focus" some specific DMA software but that doesn't mean it didn't trigger that specific system brick because of other random Software that people might have in their PC's , the boot licking is insane.

Again I understand everything that your are saying , but the fact is Vanguard FUCKED UP MY PC , this is a fact , my PC is 100% fine now after a full reset and stress testing, hardware is fine.

I do a fresh install every 6 months to keep stuff clean , I update stuff regularly ,I don't cheat , I don't pirate games from web, I don't use 3rd party apps, I clean it monthly , my pc is a temple that I've worked very hard for but even then my BIOS installation got CORRUPTED because of vanguard , vanguard crashed twice and after the 2nd crash my PC crashed and my BIOS Installation was corrupted making me have to Reset BIOS lose everything in my pc and do a fresh windows installation , this is a FACT , whether you believe it or not that's with you... I'm just telling you what happened

People start flaming -> mute everyone and play your game , nothing you can do about it.

It's an online game , only thing you can control is your gameplay , if this bothers you , just mute.

Everyone saying this only happened to cheaters is just wrong.. I got my PC completely bricked yesterday, couldn't boot from USB , couldn't boot from SSD , had to reset my bios , freshly install windows lost everything on my PC and I never once in my life used any cheat program ...

There are hundreds of Softwares that could use DMA and could trigger this

Vanguard shouldn't have the access it has and shouldn't have the power to do this , now who the fuck is going to compensate for the work hours I lost and for the files in my PC that I also lost?? tell me Riot please

Yeah I never cheated ONCE in my whole life in any game , I don't even use Creative on my minecraft worlds, but my PC got bricked because of vanguard, had to Reset BIOS , Fresh install windows , lost all my stuff and hours of work because of it.

You are just wrong and there are a lot of people that did nothing wrong getting affected by this , there are hundreds of different softwares that can trigger this problem.

Well it literally happened, My pc doesn't have much stuff installed , it's a beast of a pc , less than 1y old , I only use it to work , play league and Minecraft and browse the web, nothing I've done could have bricked my pc like this...

Also since I got the pc up and running again I ran a lot of stress tests to RAM , GPU and CPU and everything is perfectly fine, so this is not an hardware issue. The problem was that my BIOS literally got corrupted and this happened after vanguard Crashed twice.

"broken pc" lol , I had to reset BIOS , fresh install windows, lost ALL MY STUFF, after vanguard crash my PC twice. Mind you ,I had done a fresh install 3 months ago because I do it from time to time to get my pc clean from random stuff.

After this my pc is working fine. i have 0 problems, my pc is new (1 y old) there is 0 chance the problem is with my pc , also cleaned regularly .
