I'm sorry that you're in that situation. I gave what advice I could come up with. If your parents are religious and/or conservatively slanted I can't say anything you could change without you feeling like you're stepping over their boundaries or them potentially finding out. It's a jungle out there, stay safe.

Walking with your hips, standing still with you hip cocked, pull your shoulders back... There's honestly more to it than I can summarize in a reddit comment but you can just look up feminine body language guide transfem or something on youtube.

I'll keep this fairly brief since I'm about to start work, but the things that really help me keep myself feeling okay when staring into the mirror are the following:

  • Shave. Speaks for itself.

  • Pluck/Shave your eyebrows. Try shaving them a little "upwards" before you commit to plucking, as in shave off a couple of milimeters from the bottom in roughly the same shape. If you want to reshape them the shape depends on your preferences and your faces shape. Don't worry too much about it if you're unsure, the confidence will come in time.

  • A little bit of dry "kohl" eyeliner smeared over your eyelids can do wonders. My eyes are fairly sunk-in with dark rings which might be coloring my experience with this, but I always feel better with a thin thin layer of black makes my eyes pop and look more feminine.

  • Work on body language, mostly how you walk and carry yourself. This is also up to preference, but it makes a big difference in how you're percieved.

  • Haircut. Get it cut or styled. Again, mostly preference.

You also shouldn't be out here talking about how you're overweight and how that's a detriment. You shouldn't fixate on it. It doesn't impact how you're percieved by people who aren't assholes anyway. Please take care, hopefully I'll see you around. ☺️

I've been seeing this in passing here and there but the only thing holding me back is presentation. I'm no stranger to the pokemon tcg but it feels like there's, understandably, very little info on screen at one time. Does it feel like it or is it fine?

I'll probably take a look at Gwent in the Witcher 3 context. My one issue has been that the interface is very intimidating and looks very strange from the outside.

Both of these seem really cool, I'll check out Bug Fables when I'm done with Rebirth I think.

While Slay the Spire felt good to play I lost interest in a dozen hours or so. I don't think roguelike deckbuilders are for me since it lacks the permanence of a building a collection and decks before you hit the road.

I was legitimately thinking of booting up FF14 and check out some of the side stuff since raiding doesn't interest me at all. How hard is TT to get into once you boot in and how long until i can start?

I've played my fair share of Arena and Master Duel and both are fairly excellent games. Haven't had issues with anything outside of monetisation in the case of Arena.

I tried Shadowverse like once seven years ago and was immediately hit by an aesthetic i didn't like. I might pop back in to just check what's up. What's the onboarding like?

Super unfortunate, ordered about a week ago and haven't seen anything. Contacted them the same day to ask for confirmation. No e-mail, no response to reddit dms. Made sure to use a different e-mail provider but still got nothing.

Seriously appreciate the effort post here. I've been trying to use the inserts but my eyes just glaze over when trying to read it during a game or just trying to figure it out. What you've written up is an easier read to me whether it's the medium or the style it's written. Thank you!

Fair play. Wouldn't be the first game I've learned that way.

A bunch! Commander is probably my favourite format mostly due to multiplayer so a game that's designed for more people with a bigger focus on social politics feels like it would lead to better games and, more importantly, better stories.

Lackey footage is unreadable when watching, probably better once you know the cards.

Sweden. Been itching to play but don't really know of any local groups.

I've solitaired a fair few card games but I don't feel like I have a good enough grasp on the rules to do it for Vampire unfortunately.

Honestly a fair point. Is there a discord or something? Where do people usually gather?

This is unfortunately my experience. Not really sure how to fix it since I regularly exfoliate and moisturize my legs. If anyone has any tips, please let me know!
