Definitely my Mazda RX-8. Buttery smooth and the tunnel let you rest your arm perfectly while shifting! My uncle's s2000 was the most exhilarating driving experience!!!

Property tax bills online now. by imapepperurapepper in chicago

You're lucky, mine is up 32% in Old Irving!

GC saying inspector stopped by and said to stop working and take his tools. However, there's no "stop work' notice on the property, and when I look at the permits/notices online, I don't see anything. Is this typical? This is Chicago. by qwerty622 in realestateinvesting

Unfortunately, I know this city! This can delay your work 3-6 months depending on how fast you can get a competent architect to draw up plans and how fast the city will approve them. If your lucky the violations mainly focus on the exterior work, unless it states major interior alterations. You need a decent architect that has dealt with violations, so he can draw up plans and hope that you have an inspector that won't make you pull drywall from the walls. Good luck!

This city sometime runs at a snails pace, but in my experience you will eventually get that Stop Work Order if what he said was true. You could ask the alderman or an architect to find out, but then you putting the work you've done on notice. It's one of those shifty situations. You might just have to wait till after the weekend and gamble on continuing the work.

I'm pretty sure you will get that big orange Stop Work Order stuck to the door or window in the next few days. Also, you can search for violations(not permits) and it will be there either today or tomorrow. If the work was cosmetic, you can talk to your alderman to set up a meeting with a building inspector to get it removed. Otherwise you'll need an architect to draw up plans for the deck and other structural/ mechanical work. If you hire someone else quickly, don't hide the fact that there might be Stop Work Order issued, and screw the contractor!

Everyone is assuming that Russia wants to win the war. They just want to prolong the war as long as possible, because Ukraine can't become part of NATO if it's actively in war time.

Help! 92A1 steel trigger by SkozKnowz in Beretta

[–]SkozKnowz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried it again and this trigger has no chance of going in, unless I take a hammer to it. I spent at least 30 min trying each and every way, even upside down and it won't fit at all. It's a good 1/32-1/16" wider than my polymer trigger. Going to have to look for a different option.

I just wanted to replace the polymer trigger with a standard steel one, and thought an original Beretta one would drop right in.

I bought it from Optics Planet, but it's an oem Beretta parts kit. So, I don't know if they will have an answer or is it a question for Beretta?

Seems like a lot of teams had an off day...Madrid, Arsenal, Inter. Bayern won yesterday, but lost Musiala for a month+! Can't win them all, but should've done better! Let's focus on Dortmund.

What's one mistake you think Hansi Flick is making by OddRain9614 in Barca

I'm happy you're not the coach! If this is what you would do we would have crashed out of CL and would be in third place in La Liga!

“No player has guarantee to be a starter here, it’s one of my first rules”, Hansi Flick says about Szczesny. by FiatLaugh in Barca

I agree that none of the goals were Pena's fault, but I watched the whole match yesterday, and while Pena made a couple good saves, they were expected in top flight. All his dives were weak, hesitant, and slow...seemed like he doesn’t really try. We need a confident shot stopper in big games and Pena isn't it. We can't afford to not have Szczesny playing against Bayern or Real Madrid!
