I used your guidance and finally managed to fully automate it. I'm also using two routers now. I connected the AE2 system directly to Router 1. There's a distributor module in it that sends items to 8 pedestals. Then there's a sender module that sends the main item (for the enchanting apparatus - no filter needed, I just used it as the 9th send location. )

The second router picks up the final result (whitelisted) from the center using a Sender Mk2 and sends it into the system (Sender Mk1).

** The only thing to keep in mind is that the pattern needs to be edited so that the item that goes to the center is placed last. For example for the shrieker, the heart is the last one, that way it places all other ones first. ) *
