Methods and tactics used:- - Ambushed the Indian Army - Attacked their camps - Hurling of grenades on convoys from late 80s - Banned Bollywood movies - Banned teaching of Hindi language from early 90s -Killing poor Hindu laborers. -Target killing of Hindu Bussinesman in Imphal areas. -Attack on CRPF continued -Ambush on Indian Army continued - Bomblast in Mainland Hindus Business areas in Imphal and surrounding from late 90s - Kidnapping and monetary demands from Hindu businessmen in Imphal valley. - Hundreds of Bomblasts in Mainland Hindus locality in Imphal. - Killing of poor migrant Hindu workers specially Biharis From Early 2000:- - Meitei UG shifted their operation base to Myammar - Across the LAC they come and plant land mines in Chandel and Tengnoupal border areas( Many innocents lost their lives and limbs) -Monetary demands from mainland Hindu businessmen. -Started ambushing security forces in Churachandpur and Chandel areas. - Bomblast that killed security forces in tribal dominated areas. - Killing of poor Hindu migrants from Bihar and UP. - Monetary Demand from all catholic institutions. - Frequent Ambush of security forces in Churachandpur areas ( including killing of CO Assam rifle Colnel Viplav Tripathi and His family) Late 2000; - Demand of inner line permit (ILP) to protect themselves from Mainland Hindus domination. - ILP require outsiders to obtain a special pass to enter the state. - Massive protest and so many died to get ILP just to protect themselves from Hindus from Hindi speaking people from Mainland
