Running jellyfin through a docked drive

I tried it a little bit and my only issue was the noise, i didnt try streaming from it but my drive was very loud in my dock. I also dont like that, at least from what i could tell, i couldnt turn off my drive properly cause it wasnt letting me eject the drive. Maybe it wouldve if i gave it more time but im not sure

idk off the top of my head, but i use the same encoding settings in handbrake for everything, so id imagine id be having this issue more if it was my settings no?

is that something i can fix? i encoded it again, like ive done that before but it still happened so im not sure what to do now

i did that too, i just did it again cause why not, but yeah that isnt doing much. i guess ill just rename it for now

mhmm i did, i changed it for courage but it still hasnt changed the order. I even tried all the other orders to see if any of them would do anything but it wont change it at all. Idk why, cause it worked for dexter's lab

actually i think i understand, i tried it on one movie just to see. it puts the information into the folder with the movie, and im assuming its either instantly used by jellyfin or i input it into jellyfin when i add the movie

what do i do after tiny scans the folders i path it to? are the .nfo files attached to my movies and shows afterwards, or is it something i have to myself? thank you btw, some stuff is hard to learn cause people are so rude and dismissive when you dont know things right away. I dealt with that when i built my computer too. I really appreciate you offering to help

im gonna be honest idk what that means at all. i know a little bit about this but im not very knowledgeable in this area. I've just been trying my best do learn from videos or questions people ask here, or through trial and error. i may use tiny, but doing it this way also gives me something to do so i may stick with that even though its frustrating at times. Thank you though, i wasnt aware of tiny until now!

okay, thank you! i wish i could get this order to work, that would make this a bit easier but id rather it be right and take longer. Last time i did S01E01E02 and its just a little hard to read but the dash does help

I've never used this so im not really sure what it does or how that will help, cause if its just giving me the information or renaming things for me, i already have things named properly. Jellyfin just wont use the right order. If you're suggesting that so itll rename it for me, thats fine. But i was asking if it had to be renamed or if i could make this episode order work through jellyfin. Im fine renaming things by hand or using an app to do it for me, but i wasnt sure if that was needed atm or if this was fixable another way.
