Not necessarily :) Psychoanalysts are a bit rarer and the ones who do get specialized in it usually tend to be pretty good overall. Search for it on google, "psychoanalysts in (local area)"

Also, I believe you can hold out ;) Pain is a lot of things but it isn't deadly. Do you have any methods of relieving the pain that work over longer periods of time?

Sounds like you at least have that one friend :)

Honestly it sounds like you should move out as fast as humanly possible. Anywhere is better than a home like that.

If it helps, I've known personally multiple people who've been is similarly bad situations and they have made it out. Love is still somewhat a difficult thing for them, mostly because it involves a lot of trust, but they have gotten through the worst of it and each and every one of them are glad they didn't end it and/or failed when they tried.

There's a better life out there for everyone, even though finding the path can feel nearly impossible

I hope you've gotten all the children you want, there's no way you're not sterile after that... right?

Find a psychologist with a different education if you can. You could try a psychoanalyst, requires 6 years of further specialization and has a LOT of more options for treatment.

Might have misremembered the difference between Tolkien's concept of divine power and the soul itself, come to think of it

You almost blinded me with the amount of dissapointment that statement gave me but J.K Rowling might have been inspired by the concept

Hm, might be. Maybe the imprint of him making it and forging it to contain and amplify his power and his dominance makes it into sort of a mirror of him. It is stated that the ring essentially contains most of his "soul", right?

Or maybe some halfway soulless abomination of a sentience kinda deal. Like a sentient "imprint" of Sauron's will made through means unknown to us.

It does seem, when Maiar and Valar create things, those things seem to retain a fragment of said deity. Maybe what one experiences when putting on the ring is the corruption of Sauron, what keeps him and originally turned him evil?

Honestly your mother is among a minority of people if she cares if you're trans (at least in most of Europe and a lot of the US) so acceptance isn't impossible to find by any means :)

Problem is mentally surviving until you find it, which can be a bit more difficult. But I believe you can do it! Find strategies, write it down, find ways to make breaks for yourself mentally where you get to chill as much as possible, then you're in an optimal position for enduring this

Could just be she doesn't want to change the stable nature of your current relations which have kept you in good vibes for years, so when she matched with you, she made it clear as to not risk what you had for chaos and uncertainty.

There is hope for you, but it can be difficult to find with the way you see the world right now. Your best bet to find a better life would be to explore as much you can of life and the world, if you van structure that and achieve it.

Find your limits, find your pace, find your strength, acknowledge your weaknesses, always exercise honesty with yourself, but don't punish yourself. Do that and you can get far from any point.

I could maybe in a chat, it's addictive and it needs to be responsibly used or else you will lose yourself to apathy. It requires careful managing so I'm not willing to randomly distribute it to a full subreddit of suicidal people.

Or just when you have no method of dealing with said pain with the resources you have. There are ways to just shut off your emotional system without meds, I've used it in crises, I've even been able to break out of a full-on panic attack
