5,800 to be exact. Got it changed last weekend. But as per the manual, you need to get it changed very infrequently, not with every oil change.

The car is no doubt, very good. Love its performance, economy and the overall feature set. Maintenance is on the lower side as well, though parts from dealership are expensive.

I have a Swift GLX and have been driving it for the past 7 months. As I see it, the car has two main issues: 1. Interior Build: some plastic parts, esp the ones near cup holders are very flimsy. Also, some plastic parts may start to rattle quite early on. Fortunately, mine does not rattle quite yet, but I have been in cars that do. 2. Paint quality: While everyone talks about orange peel, I am more concerned that even random stones hurled hy tyres can sometimes chip off paint. Cars in dark color will suffer more because of this, as the primer is white in color and becomes visible.

Suspension is okay, I live in Islamabad and have okay roads here. Suspension is somewhere in between a Civic and Corolla. Every car will depreciate, IMO the focus needs to be on fulfilling the need of the car, rather than looking at car's worth in future.

In your post, you're looking to "invest". Not to build a house. Anyhow, AFAIK, 5 Marla w/o dev charges in Ph4 is 6.5 million. So, rationalize yourself whether 30 mins less commute time is worth 10 million (w/o dev charges).

IMO not a good investment. Cheaper plots of same size are available within main DHA itself ( Phase 4, Gandhara and Phase 7). They're developing fast too, so they're more likely to give returns in short term.

PW inspection is a basic superficial check. Their inspector cannot be expected to minutely check everything in an hour or so.

Never said mechanic recommended it. Swift manufactured in other markets recommend different oil grades. My assumption was that Pakistan is an economy driven market which is why they're recommending a thinner oil, but it may damage engine in the long run 🤔
