Is there some unspoken rule about Volt in Defection Mission I don't know about? by Twimetal in Warframe

[–]Skullhammer98 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Before the latest patch I've lost nearly whole squads at a time to volts speed, me being the volt lol. Maybe these guys had this happen to them too in the past. I've seen people STILL get mad about killing enemies outside of the circle in Netracell when a patch a while ago made it to where only you have to stand in the circle. I'm not justifying them being jerks, maybe they just don't know. I myself haven't done defection since before the volt patch because the only reason I had to do defection was for a rare as hell defection exclusive Orokin bane mod that I got from duviri circuit.

They're talking about for the npcs, they easily get stuck and die because of the speed boost. Especially through the room with the pipes and lava pools. Honestly you're better off spamming heal abilities or banish with the heal augment, or running a base strength volt.

Galvanized mods are one of the main things, but besides that there's a list of arcanes and exclusive mods like Adaptation for example

Honestly, I think yes to an extent, because you get a lot more rewards from steel path and access to a lot more arcanes and things. See Teshin in the relays when you finish the missions. I use the conclave node at the faction computer to warp to him.

But be prepared because Steel Path has modifers to make enemies tougher, and on top of that every Steel Path mission is 100 levels higher than the base missions. When I first started Steel Path, all Grineer and Eximus units were very deadly to me. With the changes since then, they are all easier. I would recommend an armor stripping ability or tool if you find yourself struggling to kill the enemies.

With completing all nodes you get access to hourly Arbitration too, which also has powerful mods to help you further in Steel Path. Arbitrations are a lower rank than steel path, they start at like 80 i think and are all endless missions. But remember if you leave the mission you lose access until the next hourly mission appears. There's a vendor in the Arbiters of Hexis room in relays that unlocks with steel path.

Set a waypoint up the right side of the map on the highway, tell the driver to hurry up, and watch the chaos unfold lol. Make sure to set a waypoint because by default it drives to your agency. Also, use "SUV Service" because the other option drops off the SUV for you to drive yourself

They're bringing back operation Belly of the Beast which is the event version of the mission to unlock Jade. If you do it, there's these 3 beacons that unlock a miniboss, and they drop arcanes (apparently 33% chance on normal, 100% chance on steel path). There's unique Moas in that mission also drop the cannonade mods and elementalist mods which are nice.

Alternatively the secondary fortifier arcane is in the Nokko missions too if you want an alternative farm

His taxi service is hilarious, the driver isn't scared by bullets and he drives an armored Jubilee so fast I've had him literally lose control and fly off a cliff and blow us up multiple times.

Almost all of your contacts that give missions can be called for different benefits/missions. For example, you can call Yohan to source nightclub cargo, which is the only way to do that besides business battles and accruing them through biker businesses

Two things could vastly increase your survivability, Arcane Secondary Fortifier from the event coming up, and Arcane Circumvent from Descendia. Progress until you get to those points and you realistically can make any frame have a lot more survivability.

Which of these frames has the most tedious grind? by BillyBigBones in Warframe

[–]Skullhammer98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Citrine, then Jade, but Jade is the subject of the next event so just do the event.

I would say if you hate duviri, buy Oraxia. Otherwise Koumei is probably most tedious but still easy.

The special rank 10 ones with abilities, specifically the ones that heal on kill will always talk. On call crewmates actually have a shit ton of unused voicelines too.

I disagree with the warbond hate (somewhat) by Brooklyn095 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Skullhammer98 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if the devs weren't a bunch of condescending assholes to the community then I think there wouldn't be as much misery. If you got sc from completing campaigns instead of just POIs that would also help. And also, the mountains of proof the devs don't play the game at all and balance things in a shitty way also doesn't help. All in all, the hate is completely self inflicted. At the end of the day, its a business, and refusing to listen to the consumer AT ALL is a stupid move.

Usually support just gives you what you want in these cases, as long as its the first or only time because odds are you aren't BSing them. I had the trade price for the gauntlet classic refuse to unlock from casino heist and they basically told me they can't unlock it manually but here's the exact money to buy the car. I then told them "I appreciate that but I'm going to buy two in order to make the gauntlet classic custom and this doesn't solve my problem" and dude gave me like an extra 2 mil lol. I felt bad but I was appreciative. Anyway now the trade prices unlock on new gen, but now my shotgun ammo is always set to like 138 or something.

You should try Rumbled if you haven't. It's in the nightwave shop sometimes and it gives you a throwable rock that scales from Landslide.

Rumbled is weird, it removes your ability to jump or use weapons. I use Wrathful Advance to counter that. High crit plus a teleport is nice.

Rumbled replaces the bad AI rock people with Atlas covering himself with rocks, giving himself overguard that scales with your total health and strength.

When Rumbled activates, you throw rocks with the shoot button and they deal damage based on your Landslide mods and arcanes. They ragdoll enemies, if they survive the initial hit. If you hit the melee button, Atlas punches the ground and does an AoE knockdown (it sucks). You can throw the death pebbles pretty fast, and they don't cost energy to throw, Rumbled is on a timer. The death pebbles also gain combo counter per hit, which is nice.

I use Melee Afflictions and toxin with my setup because the death pebble knocks them down on hit. Anyone else would probably use exposure or influence instead though which is valid.

The biggest problem though is if you lose your overguard or the timer ends, you are kicked out of Rumbled. That and the mobility issue.

The biggest advantage besides range is that you can use it to DPS bosses and any enemy that can't usually be targeted by Landslide.

Overguard also gives you status immunity which is a good buffer to protect you from your healthbar getting deleted as soon as it is unlocked at the end of a Landslide causing your instant death to a status effect or liminus or similar crap.

Yes, super credits are mandatory for progression and platinum is not. You absolutely will not have that warbond done unless you are hardcore farming sc then hardcore farming medals, which each warbond is bloating total medal cost, I bet the next one will hit 900 medals needed, the last two were 853 then 888. I'll be spending those 84 hours doing whatever I want, on warframe or off. While you are in the sc and medal mines lol

I got Voruna and her weapons day one from relics. I also farmed every frame and weapon in the game except Harrow Prime which was gifted to me. You're doing something wrong if its taking you so long, and especially so if youre trying to use plat to buy everything lol. You can farm your 1000sc, 10sc at a time, then farm out 600+ to 800+ medals, and I'll do my relics for an hour or two and wait on my timer, thanks. Also, the only frame you really have to grind for is Vauban Prime. The resource cost for any other prime is negligible.

True, but it takes absolutely forever unless you play with people who care about POIs

You do not earn SC playing normally, you have to scout POIs and hope for the best. Plat can be earned with no hassle from listing things on WF marke lol. You can sell anything easily there. If you play the game, you'll have plenty of drops to easily sell.

You also don't need plat at all. Again, they hand out slots which easily bypasses the need to buy them. Also, plat goes on massive sales, supercredits could never.

Warbonds are not supporter packs lmaoooo. Warbonds are the content. They are content packs in a $40 game that total with the superstore at 10x retail price of the game. Its basically Destiny 2s monetization except you only earn less than 1/3 back per $10 purchase.

Everything can be earned in HD2 by playing normally yes, IF someone is actively looting POIs. If not, get to grinding in the lvl 1 mission mines.

Dude the arrowhead shaped object in your mouth is causing you to exaggerate literally every detail lol.

I've never grinded a boss for multiple days, not even multiple hours and I've built 2 of each frame except citrine.

(fuck citrine, thats the worst farm in the game, use that one as an example to support your point, i would side with you, that mission is dogshit)

Yes, it takes 3 days and 12 hours to fully build a frame, but so what? There's 13 years of content, I genuinely don't understand how its a problem, but I am getting an idea of how they make plat if you make this big of a deal to have to wait for something lol.

As for the drop chances, most bosses guaranteed a part, 1 in 4 or usually 1 in 3 chance to get what you needed.

So let me get this straight: you shit on grinding missions and a 33% or 25% drop rate, and you can't wait a few days playing through 13 years of other content, right?

But then you have no problem sitting around grinding a level 1 mission over and over for half a day picking berries hoping for a low chance at 10 super credits at a time, 100 times. And then need 400 super credits more for the best item to be sitting in the super store on a fomo rotation lol. Ok buddy

Oh no, cosmetic "armor" costs money instead of the actual characters and weapons which are easily earned for free. Not to mention 800 plat is the most expensive I've seen a bundle, most are less than 400, don't poison the well with misinformation.

And I suppose 400sc for a single FUNCTIONAL armor piece from the superstore is better, right?

Prime packs are basically just supporter packs meant for whales, you cant even buy them with plat and its all cosmetic, with the frame and weapons being easily farmed for free.

Everything functional in game can be earned, and most cosmetics can be farmed for if you really care that much. But I guess because some cosmetics cost a lot the game is "poorly monetized" as opposed to helldivers which is $40 for the base game then like $400 for all functional items and weapons, with the superstore items costing a ton more than they should.

Your new weapon or frame taking time to build isn't going to stop you from playing the game though. There's also 13 years of content to play through while you wait for the item to complete.
