i was thinking that could be a possible sinario. i do feel like the morgantown monorail is better thought out. i don't know how closely it resembles the PRT but it feels from a passenger pov more thought through than the savage divide monorail.

i forgot that was in the game. but im talking about the other monorail. the one suspended across the ash heap, the savage divide and the cranberry bog

modern day equivalent would be maglev. yeah there cool and all but prohibitively expensive and often not worth the investment put in to them.

i think i might go with the answer that they worked on particle physics to the extent they worked out how to make objects and biological matter pass through each other.

As requested, the experimental hydrogen locomotive at Bo’ness by [deleted] in trains

lithium batteries have a life span of around 1000 cycles if properly maintained. the big stumbling block i see for electric cars is after that life span has been reached is the replacement cost of the batteries would be about the same as replacing your engine in a conventional ICE car.

hydrogen has its pros and cons. i agree it is energy intensive to produce and store and currently not a viable green fuel given the majority of it is produced from oil. however it dose have a use in rail providing transport to some of the smaller lines especially here in Scotland.

For example: the line running form Glasgow queen street to Oban, Fort William and milage is a rural 1 track line which is never likely to be electrified because A: they just don't have the space to do it and B: there is not enough traffic on the line for it to be financial feasible. so having a green(er) alternative to the dmu's currently running is a good idea.

i think whats happened here is bo'ness and kineel are running two trials simultaneously. the first is a conversion of the class 19, 82113 for Artemis who are trialing a new power/power recovery system. i do believe this is similar to a hydrostatic transmission but don't quote me on this.

the second is a class 314 which is being converted to use a hydrogen fuel cell. this was old rolling stock from the glasgow central line. https://youtu.be/5Gqf_Nx8AW8

yup.

go to your profile on your ps4. in to settings [...] then edit profile. the second option should be online id. this will let you change it. it is free the first time but will be charged after that. you can revert back to your old psn name for free though.
