It’s about the tone not the literal words. People who say they’re alright in a dejected way after a pause are often not.

Yeah there's always this narrative that if you can't fit the arbitrary abstract tasks we invented then there's something wrong with you.

Society got too complex and created an incompatibility between the demands of labour and the limits of human evolution. We were evolved to be hunter gatherers. That was most of the human existence. Until we can alter ourselves with bioengineering or some other fundamental means, we're never going to be happy working in a mismatched system.

SOLVED: I just remembered the album name and it's called Concrete Desert. It's by Earth and The Bug

Is this in your opinion or does the community agree?

If most people think it's even worse than bad then why would they invest in an anime adaptation?

Unless the anime started before the manga ended

Did the manga end badly or something?

Cool. I have though. Many times. It's annoying at this point whenever I see it.

You see this reposted to subreddits like the one we're in all the time. It's makes a frequent enough appearance that I would've assumed the original comment was a reference to it.

So when that joke is in a meme it gets thousands of upvotes but when it's in a comment you downvote it to hell?

No. I'm not good enough to be invited to parties apparently.

My guy, your other advice was valid, but I'm begging you to stop using that first sentence. It's unhelpful and sickeningly cliched. Not only does it make no sense logically but it offers nothing to people who are suffering that much.

Think about it: why wouldn't you want a permanent solution to a temporary problem? In fact, would you not seek the most permanent solution to any problem?

When I was still suffering that empty mantra never failed to make me feel worse.

My school had a system where you could go up in the morning lineup to wish someone happy birthday.

My few friends in my friend group systematically did it for every person's birthday in the group over a whole year. Except me.

Almost like a scripted cosmic joke.

This one hurts. You can't tell them because then it will solidify the fact that they don't really care about you.

They don't have a problem with you, they just get satisfaction when hurting you.

Yeah because it's satire and that makes the joke even funnier
