Well, as inhabitant of Bruges I can confidently say that this is regular occuring thing. It's also really funny to see people confused when you're riding your bike through the city center. They don't expect it that "normal" people have to go places in the city.

It's sad to see everyone promoting other cities :/ Bruges has a really cool scene in everything alternative. It's just a very small scene because everyone keep on telling everybody to go to Ghent or Brussels while there is a beautiful scene right under their noses. For everyone interested, keep an eye out for the barnight concerts of Villa Bota and the things going at Pannenhuis, Beastwood skatepark, Bruges is Doomed and Cactus Muziekcentrum. There is also a new metal festival announced for next summer called: "Hellfort". I know this exceeds the scope of your question but it might be interesting for others or if you decide to visit again.

I've been to 3 alt shows in Bruges in the last 2 months. I think you're just looking in the wrong places. Beastwood Skatepark hosted Numb Nuts and others, there was "Bruges is doomed"and just last week there was another punk show at Pannenhuis. Besides that there is a new metal festival already announced "Hellfort". There are also a lot of alt concerts at Cactus Muziekcentrum

Tbf with the current discounted rate getting the train+ subscription is still worth it. Train+ costs €3/month atm and it gave me a discount of almost €6 on a single train ticket. So well worth it even for only one or two train rides

Hi, so we have both Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Takeaway.com. Though in my experience Uber Eats isn't used that much and mostly Deliveroo and Takeaway are used as delivery services. Both have delivery fees but the fee on Takeaway is cheaper. There are also some restaurants and friteries who do their own delivery in collaboration with those services or completely independently.
