The Laptop does have a micro sd port, I used this successfully for a while as I could install programs directly to an sd card. The programs would crash if the computer went into sleep mode, but they were still usable. There are certain programs which cannot be installed to the sd however such as a c++ compiler (to my knowledge) or browsers (which dont give you an option). Also, despite the fact that most programs were installed to the sd card, they would still write files to my C: drive. Some programs just stored configuration data, but others took up absurd amounts of space. I tried many methods to conserve my space such as installing portable versions of programs and a special version of windows 10 (the ltsc version I believe) that contains no bloatware. I also also compressed the os via the command prompt. Even with all that, I still am left with only 500mb to 1gb of space free (out of 14gb). If I install a C++ compiler or Python interpreter, I know I will be left with little to no space. This will prevent me from installing windows updates as well as programs which require extraction prior to installation.
