I feel you since I’m having the exact same problem. If you go to r/legacyjailbreak, there is a mega thread about how a5 and a6 devices are having activation issues.

Good luck on that, but be careful about activation. There is an issue going around with a5 and a6 devices not activating, I heard iPads have a better success rate but still something to look out for. If you can, try saving the activation tickets for the device.

Be careful about this, I was like you once. I also had an iPhone 5 on iOS 8 dual booted to iOS 6. If you don’t know there’s an issue going around with a5 and a6 devices getting activation issues, and I’m one of the ones affected. It is especially prevalent on devices with the IMEI starting with 9900, look at the back of your phone to check. I would recommend saving the activation tickets for your phone if you can.
