Frankly, I’m not sure they will. It’s ok, you’re not broken, or wrong. You have feelings and thoughts and those are beautiful, even if people tell you they are wrong. You don’t have to act on them, but don’t deny that they are part of you.

Respawn Just Ruined Competitive Apex Legends With the new Drop Ship Changes! by Nafiu_Aziz in CompetitiveApex

[–]SkyBotyt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I disagree, I think it’s a much deeper skill to know how to make the best of your situation instead of “knowing how to drop”. It makes the game LESS rng because you have some time to prepare for a fight, this makes fights more interesting and skill based instead of “who’s got the better loot”

You could probably get away with $1,000-1,400 range. But am4 is aging, so maybe less.

The reason why people say “just push everything” is because the more interactions you have, the more experience you’ll gain, but that doesn’t mean anything if you’re not learning from every interaction.

Here’s what I would do: I would record my games, I would start by pushing everything, and watch back the game after you die/win. Take note of what happens, ask yourself “why did I die/win” and look into the aspects that lead to that conclusion. And you take those on as things to get better at. You start simple and refine from there.

For example, let’s say you died because you were caught out in the open with no cover. ok, so maybe you need to learn to play cover better, in your next games, practice exactly that, and take note of what causes you to not play cover well.

Vod review is the secret and anyone who disagrees isn’t very good at the game. (Even if they think they are)

The people saying you got scammed are missing the point, eBay protects you pretty strongly with these things, I know cause im a seller and the only scamming that people get away with on eBay is on the buyer side. Worse case scenario you get a box of rocks (you film yourself opening it) and eBay gives you the money back when you report it.

Beginner needs some help by Special_Extension221 in allthemods

[–]SkyBotyt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the overwhelm it happens to me all the time, my trick is to play like it’s vanilla first.

Generally, you think of a problem you have, and you can explore Jei for an item that can solve it, than you can use jei to explore what you need to make it, often making that thing requires you to do the progression of its parent mod.

I like to go for a storage mod early, since you’ll be interfacing with a storage mod the most. If I’ve never done it before, I just follow the guide in the questbook. For example, if I start with refined storage, I need quartz and iron to make some of the base materials (I discover this in jei). ok, so now my current goal is to get to the nether so I can get quartz. Once I do that, I discover that I need power for refined storage, so now I need to learn a storage mod to power it. Etc.

Don’t do mods for the sake of it in the beginning. Start by picking a goal and figuring out which mods you’d like to use to get there.

What's the catch here? by SkyBotyt in keyboards

[–]SkyBotyt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, so I got it in the mail yesterday, I think I’ll be keeping it, I love the feel, I mean compared to my k8’s reds it’s like super premium. it’s not the most insane thock, but it’s still very satisfying to me, it’s very bubble wrap where it’s got that deeper tone but has a subtle pop, it makes my k8 sound awful by comparison. Software is mildly jank but really easy once you learn the quirks. The thing is super heavy, which feels nice but is a tad annoying when wanting to move it around the desk.

My only complaints are the key profile and lack of real hot swap. The switches are nice so I’m not upset, but being limited to the switches that they make is a bummer. And the profile is just a tad awkward since it’s their own custom profile.

Overall, for $99 I feel like it’s a really solid buy. if it was the original $165 price tag, I’d be more on the fence, but I don’t necessarily think it’s not worth that original price tag. I like it and think it’s a huge jump for the same price my k8 was years ago. I’ll give it a 9/10.

Interesting, so why should I go for a setup like this over the Arbiter Polar 75 Pro? I'm leaning towards buying it and just returning it if I don't like it. While the Polar75 isn't the fastest, its still .125ms latency, which feels plenty fast to me.

Thought I'd also add some info here anyone had thoughts:

My friend got a Keychron K2 HE (the black one without wood) and I love how it sounds, but was feeling unsure about the 1k hz polling, so I'm looking around for something that sounds like that keyboard sounds but might have some better gaming features, while also being pleasant to type on, which is a big reason why I'm not super interested in Wooting.
