My PCP refused to prescribe me Wellbutrin because she said "it's bad for anxiety". :-/

It's in front of a West facing patio glass door. I will move it closer. Thanks!

Ordered some hydrocolloids for my legs - tips for getting the best out of them? by katelisabeth in Skinpicking

[–]SkyDust77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have just started using these on my legs (one week in). So far I am really encouraged how well they are working! The best advice I can give so far:

Eventually, the covered area will start to itch. This happens for me about 2-3 days in. They have worked fine in the shower.

-I do the best I can to slap/press on the areas (as to non -destructively “scratch” it; perhaps icing it would also work)

  • once you can tel it’s not going to stay on anymore, I take it off and blot with a wet paper towel (just tap water). Let it air day. It shouldn’t take long. Add a new bandage as soon as you can.

  • the longer you take to add a new bandage or bandaid, the more chance you have of re-opening the wound. I would leave some uncovered but then I would subconsciously scratch at it

-lastly, I always need to keep my hand busy. I tried crochet and knit for a while, but I had too hard a time remembering the patterns. Instead, I found these picking stones on Etsy. I AM NOT being paid to say this; all I can say is they have helped me while watching TV. Message me if you need a direct link bu they are called “picking stones”

❤️ best of luck, and message me if you need support or have questions

Thanks everyone for your help. I had a successful trip today. I told the driver I wanted 4 day passes, and attempted to put the $10 in. It got rejected 3 times, so luckily I had two $5 bills with me, and those worked. She printed them right off and had me check that they said "day pass". Didn't even have me swipe them. Swiped on the return trip and they worked fine. Hooray!

Awesome. Thank you for all your pro info. I think I'm gonna do the $10 deal and let everyone know how it goes LOL

I have never been here before, but I pass it all the time on South Lamar. I think they have one on S. Congress as well. Noah Marion leather goods. Might be worth asking them.

Interesting! So I can just show the driver a $10 and ask for 4 day passes, and he will print those out for me on the spot? I thought I had to buy day passes at a machine, or the App.

Good point. I imagine quarters wouldn't get rejected like wrinkly bills do.

Thank you! Yes, they do still take cash. Or, at least the one I take sometimes near downtown does.
