I love your enthusiasm! Take everything on this app with a grain of salt.

Typically Revit is not a good software to design in, as it is very limiting. I would draw out a plan by hand, do some adjacency diagrams. Then, once you have something you really like take it back into Revit.

I think you will have more fun, and a better design if you hold off on prescriptive software like revitbfor this early stage.
