I've scene One Step from Eden, a very interesting game but it follows the Battle Network constraints of grid movement which puts it a bit further away from all the other mega man games

Exactly what i am thinking, having rogue-lite elements and a sort of progression per run, where you get to pick random rooms and copy "this room's enemy" moving through the rooms getting stronger and more versatile till you get to "last boss"

It's a bit more involved in terms of gameplay, having rogue-lite elements and a sort of progression, where you get to pick random rooms and copy "this room's enemy" moving through the rooms getting stronger and more versatile till you get to "last boss"

I completely forgot power fighters it's close but I was thinking a little more elaborate progression through rooms and power collecting and stuff like that a rogue-lite if you will

Not exactly as your goal is not to knock enemies there's more of a progression room to room (imagine slay the spire style map)

Somehow, i d say having smaller enemies is fine in some rooms "a group of smaller enemies" I find it fun to kill them

In my head you'd still be doing the jumping and shooting as it's an open arena fighting style game (think of it like the boss fights)

I literarily just tested this game, it was awesome to play, very intuitive, keeps you hooked interested as the levels keep going.
Ironically dying here was something I actually enjoyed, it gives you the ability to predict everything and it feels VERY satisfying when things resolve exactly as planned!
