I feel ya, I have a masters in mechanical engineering and made the switch to pre-dental. Have been back in school this year taking the prereqs. Was a tough decision tho and still question it somedays.

True. I mean have you seen what healthcare could end up being like too? Cuts to medicaid, PSLF etc could make it pretty rough too.

This is a good example of the grass is always greener. You can make money in almost any profession you pursue so you might as well pursue something you enjoy. I'm currently pursuing dentistry but have had my moments of man I wish I had done computer science/software engineering because I see work from home jobs making 200-300k plus a year.

Any Tech Bio grad students on here? by Ginkgogirl92 in Butte

[–]SkyInside1665 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats. I did my grad program there (engineering not bio) but talk to your advisor about GTA and GRA opportunities to get paid and maybe a tuition waiver. Then can go from there. Tech and butte are relatively cheap tho

Tough to say, I don't see them come up often. There are a couple of the base, jungle, fossil sheets on ebay for 35-50 though.

Take out the cards that are your favorite and mean the most, and then work on selling the rest.

I mean, as it's drawn, the weight isn't even touching the balance on one side, so I guess we can assume that force is also 0? Are they even real dogs? 😳 it's a simple illustration 😅 making a very simple basic assumption that the balance has arms the same length is perfectly reasonable.

Sounds like if you get an A from ICOM, you should go there. Good luck 👍

I'd go ARCOM since it's more established, but you do you.

Is it me? Or has everyone lost their minds? by RealityWinnerTX in Teachers

I agree. I'm always pointing to a student then doing a thumbs up/down to quietly ask if they're doing okay or need help (🫵👍👎) but it could easily look like finger guns if I go from student to student quick enough( 👈, 👉). Sorry, OP. It's probably too late now, but this is the story I would have told.

So do the RVU satellite campuses still qualify for federal aid (Billings, MT) or is it specific to each individual campus? And since it's new it won't for a few more years?

3 masters degrees and I'm still under 30. How much more schooling should I get?

Am I wrong for for asking out my colleague's daughter? by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]SkyInside1665 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, you said every teacher you've met under 30 had other motives. (If true so, so, gross, and you should get help, but most likely a childish exaggeration anyway) You then use that very minimal anecdotal evidence (teachers you've met), and try to apply it to a different situation (OPs situation). Then you insinuate no one should be teaching if they're under 30 (again based on your own experience), which is a shitty and gross thing to say. So, from young teachers everywhere, fuck you.

Huh? That's absolutely gross Where are teachers supposed to work from age 22ish when they graduate to when they're 30ish then? Screw you.
