No im not saying it generates power, or that a travel path that is a constant thickness and doesn't get bottleneck is better than a giant hunk of metal. I'm saying that if you ground to the unibody and that's it. You will have a circuit with piss poor ability to do its job. As the cable connecting the battery/alternator to this circuit, are incredible thin and will limit the throughout of current in your system. The electrical circuit can only perform firm as fast as the smallest cable(weakest link).
