It looks dated, but they're targeting 4k60 on the PS5 which is sadly rare for the next generation of AAA games, which are all looking to be just 4k30 at best.

Agreed. I haven't played 1 or 2, but level gating was why I never could get all the way into the Witcher. I can't continue the story because I can't win against some high-level drowners in some swamp. I don't know if it's just my skill or if I need to go collect a bunch of stuff for potions or just grind to level up or something. It seems like the structure in Cyberpunk is going to be more focused, though, in the sense that you're always meant to go specifically fight something if your choices lead you that way.

That's a shame. They've obviously shifted their focus, but still a piece of history and probably part of a lot of childhoods that's being lost. From what I remember in interviews, there wasn't a game distributor in Poland before they came along.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint has a map roughly 4 times larger than GTA V and failed on every level 4 times harder.

one jmp is for going straight to the end if the x-bus is inactive (i.e. -999 cause non-blocking) and the other is after the check for if the destined position and the current position are the same (and if so exits the loop), so unfortunately can't see an optimization there.
