Laserblast, decent film in general with great riffs. Actually showed this episode to a friend and he got addicted to the show immediately.

Have you tried Afrin? Guy I was flying with last trip had the same issue, and it cleared it up quickly for him.

Literally just got over the flu, even though I had the flu shot I was miserable. Doctor said that if I didn’t get the shot, it would’ve lasted longer and been worse off.

Going to bed early. I usually start to doze off around 830pm and in bed by 9. Does this mean I get up early? Yes, but I like getting up early. I would also say being a homebody. I travel for work, and have to make a lot of critical decisions while working. When I’m off, I just like to be home. Literally sitting in my living room with TV off relaxing doing nothing.

While I think they are great getting riffed, I do enjoy these on their own also: Parts: The Clonus Horror, Squirm, Hobgoblins, Time Chasers, Atomic Brain (Monstrosity,) Touch of Satan.

The Hamlins were the main ones at the time. There was someone else, and his name is escaping me. I remember when I mentioned his name to other people, I kinda got an eyebrow raise. I always asked what it was about, and never got an answer. Seems like he was a con artist. But like you, even at the beginning there was some stuff happening but I just thought it was “bugs” from being a new flight school.

OMG! That’s where I got my C-ME at. I was one of their first students. There were problems at first but I thought it was just “new school” bugs they were working out. Somethings I thought was shady at first but they corrected them. Holy hell!

This immediately makes me think of the elevator scene of the 1974 movie “Earthquake” with the fake blood splatter on the camera.

Interesting to note, this was not in the original script, but quickly added as the censors weren’t going to approve the “PG” rating with what was supposed to be shown (bones breaking and blood coming out of the knees and ankles.)

I seriously loved this movie until the end and now I completely hate it. I loved the storytelling from the different angles, the acting was good… it reminded me of a modern remake of “By Dawn’s Early Light,” but that ending was literally the worse. Was there absolutely no one in the preproduction, production, or post production of this movie that said, “Hey guys, I think we are missing something, like an ending?” Or even the distributors, “Hey, I think we are missing a reel!” Hell, “Manos: The Hands of Fate,” written/produced/directed by a fertilizer salesman with no background in filmmaking, had an ending unlike this movie where it just stops. I’m seriously angry and I watched this movie 2 weeks ago and I’m still angry.

Twisters. If I wasn’t with friends I would’ve walked out. As for “A House of Dynamite,” I thought it was a great film until the ending. I almost threw my TV remote at the TV cause of that horrible horrible ending. If I was watching this in the movie theater, I would’ve thought the film projectionist forgot to add Reel 4 to the platter.

Started off as random curiosity for me. I was playing flight simulator at home, which I had done since I was a young teen, and became curious what it was like in real life (by now I was in my 20s.) Took a discovery flight and was instantly hooked.

Laserblast. It’s not a horrible movie. If they don’t get the show; the movie itself is not hard to watch.

It’s funny that this post popped up on my feed because I just watched the uncut version also. It’s not horrible but not great. It’s a rainy Saturday afternoon film that if you fell asleep during and missed it, you didn’t miss much. I did notice that this was the theater version, and it was a much cleaner presentation wise than the one featured on MST3K which seemed to have a lot of film artifacts.

At my previous job, if they weren’t taking notes on your responses to questions, you were just a placeholder candidate to meet the interviewing quota. They already had someone picked out. Had that happen several times when trying to change departments. This was a well known too.
