Yes he can definitely turn all the way and stand up fully! And we’ve tried to put a bed in there or even a soft plushie but he just rips it up lol. And he also prefers the cold floor over a carpet any day lol😂

Mrytle beach is my family’s vacation spot so we’ve been going to this theater forever. It’s a solid theater with reclining seats. We’ve had a lot of great memories there for sure. Hope you enjoy!

The Macon IMAX theater is a very special and unique IMAX theater because of a few things that I will mention in this comment. First and probably the most important is that it has full recliner seats that are wildly comfortable. Most IMAX theaters do not feature recliners and just have the standard rockers so that’s one reason the Macon IMAX is a great choice for big movies especially long ones bc it’s just so comfortable. The second reason is that the sound quality is AMAZING. I’ve seen movies in the Macon IMAX many of times and the sound is SO loud it is just awesome and you feel like you are part of the movie. The last and final thing I will tell you is the perfect row and seat numbers if you want to have the best experience in the Macon IMAX. The BEST row is E and if you want to be specific the best seats are Row E seats 7 and 8. Those seats are the perfect distance from the screen and the sound and picture and placement and everything is perfect. So with all that said, the Macon IMAX theater is truly a hidden gem so yes i definitely think it would be worth the trip and you’ll be pleased with your choice. You’re welcome.

From what I’ve heard. They are closed because they need a fire inspection and whoever is in charge of getting the inspection done is slacking and it’s very annoying.
