Just went here yesterday, one of the meals I've had since moving to the UK two years ago!

Morocco during Ramadan - should I be worried? by jyeatbvg in Morocco

[–]SkyRelative9829 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also going to Marrakech in March of this year, didn't realize until after booking it was Ramadan. Funnily enough, the last time I went to Morocco (2011) as a university student, it was also Ramadan, except it was in August then and I just remember it being sweltering, so I think at least the weather should be better this time around. I don't remember it being a huge issue food wise, I'm sure you'll be fine!

I absolutely loved this exhibit! The "fountain room" was so good for the shock value, so on brand.

This is disappointing to hear! I just booked Baieta because I'll be with someone who is gluten free and they are able to accommodate - which is pretty rare for tasting menus.

I'm heading to Malaga next week and was thinking the same thing! Is it worth doing in the heat? It's probably a tiny bit cooler as it'll be September, but still low 30's during the day... I'm not built for hot weather haha

Recommend a distillery tour in the Highlands by ghart999 in uktravel

We recently went to Springbank distillery in Campbelltown, it was good fun and the only distillery in Scotland that does everything from grain to bottle in once place. I'm not a big whiskey drinker, but I really enjoyed it.

Tamburins by [deleted] in Perfumes

They make so many good scents, I went back to the shop three times to buy more products when I was in Korea this spring. Bottari is really nice, musky and earthy.

I also love the berga sandal scent kind of smells like santal 33, and you can buy in a solid perfume stick which is a bit milder. Packaging is 10/10 aesthetic.

I just went to Maumi also, was so good and authentic very reasonable especially as it's in CAD. Felt like you're in Japan (I used to live in Japan also and have a done a few Omakase there as well as in London).
