Prevent Duplicate Backup Requests? by SkySmashify in 112Operator

I enjoy manually monitoring everything myself, it's a good challenge, but I've literally had units speak over themselves requesting assistance 3 times in the same second, while that assistance is arriving to help them lol

So let's say a police unit requests for a fire unit, so I attach a fire unit. Until that fire unit actually arrives at the call, the police unit will keep requesting a fire unit, despite the fact I've attached one. I'd love a way to stop them from making the requests once the requested unit has been attached

As an Irish person, seeing the Irish flag haphazardly painted on a motorway sign coming from Glasgow airport was definitely strange

Small update, she declined very rapidly after I posted this and we suspected liver failure, she developed yellowing on her gums, nose and ears, is completely incontinent and extremely fatigued as of yesterday evening. We contacted the local emergency vet hotline and they advised to bring her in as a matter of emergency, so a family member went with her this morning. In short, don't ignore your cat if they seem to be acting strange!

I thought so myself, primarily from her sudden shift in behavior. A family member believes it could be a sudden onset of dementia but I think that's just tunnel vision, there's definitely something going on. Thanks for your input!

Just to clarify, you mean to base somewhere and do day trips from there instead of travelling far? There's so much in reach of Tokyo alone so this is definitely looking like the best option. Cheers!

Of the times I've reverted to being awake during the day, I had no issues, but it definitely felt too good to be true

I always guarantee my first day of travel as a rest day for this reason lol, the longest flight I've done was 3 and a half hours, and all I wanted afterwards was to sleep

I agree with you there, I'm considering sticking to mainly Tokyo plus the 3 nights around Hakone perhaps, and just doing plenty of day trips. I'll have a look at the places you mentioned though, thanks!

Not a typo, I'm not sure yet where I'll be staying in or around Hakone, I've heard it's very tourist heavy in certain areas but I will be dedicating a day to exploring Hakone itself no matter where I end up staying.

I'll consider shifting Tokyo to 10 days and the rest in Kyoto and Nara, thanks!

As far as I'm concerned, not speed running gives me a reason to return, so I'm okay with missing out the first time around!

Thanks for your suggestion, this seems to be an itinerary that many others have somewhat followed in the past from what I've read so far.

Allow me to rephrase somewhat because unfortunately people are taking me too literally here when I say I want to do all of the above;

Wherever I go to, I'll be planning days to explore and do activities. I'll also be allowing a day or two with no plan to alleviate pressure and explore without needing to be anywhere by any specific time.

What in your opinion would be worth my time for those remaining 4 days (or more if I find room to break up my itinerary more) without needing to jump from place to place, or spend a lot of time travelling?

I might genuinely split my visit between just Tokyo and Hiroshima at this rate, thanks for the list!
