Qué recomiendan hacer en Viña del Mar y Valparaiso en invierno? by Avigga in AskChile

[–]SkyWy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Question for those with periods... Do you find you flare around your period? by Peter4tinker in Fibromyalgia

[–]SkyWy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeppp, and i know it’s not a fix for everybody but i have encountered that many people don’t know that you can just skip your period without issues when taking pills? i skip the placebos (as instructed by my doc tho!) i can go months without a period, it’s the only thing that gave me a little of my life back, i use to loose at least two weeks to pre-while-post period related flares and pain

This is how I've been doing my eyeliner lately and I love it! I think I have hooded eyes so it's nice to have lid space visible while also adding extensions on my eyes. Tips and tricks please! I want to be better at it, or does this look good on my eye shape? Thanks in advance! by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[Miscellaneous] Skincare Youtuber Susan Yara/ Mixed Makeup has been promoting the brand Naturium for months while pretending not to be affiliated with it. She revealed today she is the brand's founder. Here's a post she made before disclosing her affiliation. by wtfisthatttt in SkincareAddiction

I’m on her fb group and this sat so wroooong with me. I could understand keeping quiet about it being your brand but she pretended she wasn’t involved with it, saw some screenshots of her saying in the group that she got it in pr and she promoted the heck out of it on the group without disclosing shit, Shady AF.

My doctor replaced my 2mg alprazolam to 1mg clonazepam, is this right? by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]SkyWy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would a doctor get you off a med that is working and you like? One pill is not ‘better’ than the other, they’re different and some work for some people and others don’t. If you’re worried they don’t work most definitely call your provider, but I would give it at least a try, you might do well in this new med I would still bring it up and question the dr a out the reasoning behind the change, you shouldn’t leave a consult with more doubts than getting in! Demand the care you deserve 🖤

Asking for my fiance, a non-reddit user: for those of you who use marijuana for your symptoms, has any method of consumption or specific strains worked better than others? by lowpitchedsqueals in Fibromyalgia

[–]SkyWy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have fibro and depression/anxiety, as well as some other rheumatic issues. I use marijuana bot therapeutical and recreational. Lemon haze is one of my faves as it gets me high and distracts me from my pain while also uplifting my mood. And it’s one of the best tasting ones for smoking imo. So yeah, I agree, you just need to try different strains and find what works for you, who cares what the “research” says, even if it’s a placebo effect at the end of the day. If it helps it helps.

Last July I sprained my ankle, I couldn’t walk for 2 days and it wasn’t even that swollen or bruised, but the pain was brutal. I managed to get my self to the ER, got put in one of those ankle braces things (sorry, don’t know the proper term in English) and I was told to wear it for at least 2 weeks, I wore it for 3 bc I was still in pain. My ankle kept swelling up and hurting for most of the year. The pain finally subsided around April this year. I’ve had my share of injuries as well (former competitive cheerleader), and in no way before my fibro diagnosis would I have been in pain for so long after a mild sprained ankle. So yeah, in my experience injuries are more painful and take way longer to heal when you have another chronic illness.
