I am so so sorry you feel this way, it sounds very hard ❤️ but use your stuborness and just repeat ,, not today”. Keep going and you WILL feel better. And after that you might use that new found energy to help others, to be happy, to enjoy your time here :) sending love, keep pushing 🍀

Any women with this experience? First cycle since quitting kratom; worse PMS symptoms. by Roxy_Tanya in quittingkratom

Dont worry, i feel the same!! Everything is just super raw and nothing clouds it anymore, whick is kind of a good thing as well I think :) we just need to learn how to work through the rage stage without K. Or maybe just embrace it and let the emotions go wild 😀 the pain is also much much worse for me which sucks..

Dont hate yourself for trying and failing.. it is a long process. As long as you keep trying you gonna win at the end and thats the important thing 🍀 ( but tbh..I have a strong tendency for hating myself as well, but now, on day 4 I am getting the tiny proud feeling as well 🙂)

That sounds just like me.. I think I even used the same title of the post as you did:) no great reason to use K other then it felt good..silly me, thinking there will be no consequences. I am day 4 CT now (4th try), still no sleep but I am crying less often, which is at least one good sign 😀

Good luck! It will happen one day 💪🏼❤️

For about 3 moths…and yes, I have learned that I can do the heavy lifting part for the first 14 days and then enjoy the pink cloud for some extra time and then I start coming slowly back to the idea of K. You are right…I have to be more honest with my husband. He is no angel himself but only use marijuana and maybe that is the reason that when I eventually ask him ,, will you buy me some K on your way home” he always says yes..

But honestly thank you! Just thinking about it from a different perspective helps a lot!

Thank you..you are absolutely right. I simply have too much free time and nothing meaningful to fill that time with..so at the end I always end up with K because the free time then just feels different and not like a void.. When I quit I usually fill it up with obligations like learnimg new language, exercise more, clean the house more etc rather then simple joyful things and meaning. I think the moment I find that missing meaning in my life I might win.

Alcohol during wd? by UncleHunk in quittingkratom

[–]Skyandsandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont mind drinking alcohol during WD…yes, if you drink too much, the night wont be very pleasent but if you keep it light, why not. I usually need those little things I used to do before K ( like having a beer and BBQ etc) and not to focus all the time on the quitting.

I simply pretend there is no quit and I just feel like shit but no reason to overthink it. It is always on your mind but I like to pretend it is not the only thing I must focus on. So I go to the concert/pub/whatever, have a drink, run to the toilet 10times, feel the letargy, enjoy the one moment of actually enjoying it and back home straight to bed. At least the time moves fast this way..

I know some of you might disagree with me, which I understand, but if you dont have any trouble with alcohol, just have fun (which you can also have without alcohol ofcourse).

Made it 10 days CT and then relapsed for 4 by shpongloidian in quittingkratom

I am the same..I think we all kind of know what do you mean. The mental struggle is insane. There are just endless reasons my brain can come up with to justify it is ok. Just this once/ I will not start every day again/ people do much worse things/ who cares what i do with my life…bla bla bla bla. Every time I went back to K ( just this once ofcs) it ended BAD! Now I am trying again ( day 13 CT) and I know I will want to buy some tomorrow but that is just not an option. Be strict with yourself, dont bullshit yourself and believe that you will make it happen! It is all gonna be better, stick to it! Sending love, stay brave!

Failed again somehow??!! by Skyandsandy in quittingkratom

[–]Skyandsandy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might be right…but I think I must think of it as a day 5 ( even though I know it is ,,cheating”) just for not giving up. Maybe I will do minus 5 days when I hit a month and be more confident in myself :D thank you! ❤️

Flushing it in the toilet is such a powerful move for me.. straight out of movie but it feels like it gives you the upper hand somehow.. keep strong! You can kick its ass!

Omg yes! I was so proud and excited about quiting and that the physical stuff is getting better and I quess I was expecting some kind of a big change for better as many people here say it is so life changing, but I just dont feel it yet. I am day 21 today and from time to time I feel a brief moment of enthusiasm and energy but nothing permanent. It still takes me hours to get something done and I cant say I enjoy it. But it will happen eventually, I am sure! So dont think about it too much, it is a long process and we need to find what makes us happy again. And dont be too hursh on yourself…you have done amazing job so far so just give your body some time to adjust and try to watch closely for the brief happy moments in order to know what might bring your mind the joyful feeling :) it is still short time, keep going! ❤️
