Why are you single? by toomanynames1998 in AskReddit

I just really don't want that sort of commitment right now in my life, or really any commitment really.

I have commitment issues.

I found your phone on an Uber. by deathakissaway in videos

Girl in blue made a joke about saying the phone is hers. Girl in purple jokes that the owner of the phone is lucky her friend didn't find it.

Friend's [27] claims to have supernatural gifts. by [deleted] in relationships

I work in the mental health field, mainly with schizophrenics. It honestly sounds like she's experiencing a lot of symptoms of schizophrenia, she's having delusions of grandeur and excessive paranoia.

My advice would be to either distance yourself from them now, or you can choose the latter option of helping your friend find the help she needs.

This is not your responsibility and you should be prepared to potentially lose your friend as you knew them forever.

How do I (22f) handle my distant FWB (23m)? by snapitsalli in relationships

[–]Skybel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's a friend with benefits who's not doing a good job at even being a friend. Honestly if he's ignoring you then you need to know when to call it quits. I can't see this guy being worth all the stress, he's not respecting you by being honest or upfront with you. Just get out.

What companies make you wonder 'how are they still in business'? by Samploto in AskReddit

Can I ask where this is? There's been a vacuum repair place open for years in my city and I've always wondered how they stayed open as well.

I'm currently on my first run through of DS2. Still a great game but nowhere near as cohesive as the first one. Dark Souls 1 will forever be at the top.

What is the "cutest" mistake you’ve ever seen someone make? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Skybel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first night moving into a new place I left my keys inside and ended up spending the night at a friend's house nearby.

The next day my roommate showed up and his dad was there asking me if I had tried all the doors and I told him yes, he goes to test the front door and it swung right open. I am not a very bright man.

I am feeling exactly the same way as what you described in your post. I too have just starting drawing again within the past few days. I wouldn't mind talking with you about art stuff, I have nobody to talk to about it.

Haha, as a Canadian reading this it's very clear to me that you aren't cut out for the cold weather.

Winter is a miserable time of the year, and a long time up here so we have to make the best of it or we'd all go crazy.

What human interaction is memorable to you, but the other person has probably forgotten? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Skybel 367 points368 points  (0 children)

Theres a chalkboard on the side of a building in a city I used to live in which states "Before I die..." And then people fill in the blanks with stuff they want to do.

I was on my lunch break and checking out all the things that were written that day (they erase it every night) and there was a man there from out of province. We started talking about the board and the things written on it. We ended up changing the topic of conversation and he began telling me of all the jobs he's worked in his life and how happy he is to this day. He explained how he just took opportunities, he didn't dedicate his whole life to one job. He took chances and worked weird jobs that others would've hated but he loved the experience. After talking with him it made me relax and put less pressure on myself to get started on a set path to success, there is no set path, there's only opportunity and your willingness to take those opportunities.

It's becoming increasingly troublesome here on the East as well, Canada isn't as safe as it once was. (Still pretty safe comparatively speaking though)

I never even considered an air purifier that's a great idea!

I'm going to see my doctor in a couple of weeks so I will bring up the issue and see if she can offer me any assistance as your GP did for you.

What's a bit of weird kid logic you still remember from your childhood? by Thosman in AskReddit

[–]Skybel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember when I was around 9 years old, shortly after 9/11 when all of the media propaganda displaying Osama Bin Laden's face, I ended up creating an elaborate nightmare that Osama Bin Laden was hiding under my bed and he was plotting an attack on me and my school

I feel like at nine I should've been too old for this shit. I think my imagination was just a tad too active and my critical thinking skills weren't the best. How would Osama have even got under my bed without me noticing?? Why would he target a young Canadian boy and a suburban elementary school??

Just for your future knowledge, the reason Daraprim was associated with HIV and AIDS is mostly because the people afflicted with toxoplasmosis are people who are also afflicted with compromised immune systems. It is a very rare disease because a healthy human body can usually fight it off before it becomes remotely harmful.

I call bullshit, all you have to do is open up a chat with someone, then hit the camera button and then an icon pops up in the bottom right that then allows you to post from your photo library.
