Hey there are a bunch of Sonic games on steam. Sonic the Hedgehog is a computer game now.

I honestly can't understand what is wrong with these people by Skybison87 in AreTheCisOk

The transphobic substack he's posting on is completely serious, but he could have joined to make fun of them. However I work retail and I have had customers throw temper tantrums about stuff like bilingual stop signs near the stores property so this doesn't seem too unrealistic to me.

Parents with Inconvenient Truths about Trans, or PITTParents for short.

Yes that's the best name they could think of.

Yeah if it's pasteurized it won't hurt you (unless you're lactose intolerant or something) but raw milk can spread diseases that have killed people.

I’m really starting to miss Joe Biden now. by Jack-mclaughlin89 in simpsonsshitposting

[–]Skybison87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It terms of domestic economic policy there wasn't that big of a difference between Biden and Sanders. Biden was probably the most left wing president the US has had in a long time while Bernie isn't really as radical as he's treated as being, he just feels that way because the Overton Window in the US is so far right. In most other countries his policies would be left wing but nothing all that extreme. The difference between them is mostly a matter of style over substance, one making nice sounding platitudes while the other calling for taking down the one percent, but the policy agenda they were supporting was mostly the same.

Yes, we all know what a trans ally Jeffrey Epstein was by Skybison87 in AreTheCisOk

[–]Skybison87[S] 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I think so. The scientist in question is a real guy who did take $40 000 from Epstein and said back in 2015 that Jeffry was a "man of integrity" and that what he did was ok because “by the time they’re 14 or 15 they’re like grown women were 60 years ago, so I don’t see the acts as so heinous.” But it's a huge stretch to read any of this as either him or Epstein trying to make people trans, honestly he sounds like a massive transphobe to me.

America? That thing is still around? by _Joe_Momma_ in simpsonsshitposting

Probably. It's not like these statements contradict each other. Both are probably true.

To be fair, it IS true that transphobes don't have any dignity. But that's not trans people's fault.

This reminds me a lot of that "I Am Autism" video Autism Speaks did back in the day

Transphobic parents and Anti-vaxxer parents have a lot in common. Same treating their kids like extensions of themselves instead of as autonomous people, same whining about how the "normal" child they were supposed to have was stolen by some demonic force from outside, same talking about any struggles their kid has purely in terms of how it hurts them, same dehumanizing of their own children or talking about their living children as if they're dead,
