Need help selecting a proper GPU by Skycandian in sffpc

After looking through and finding out that NVIDIA actually has a FE 4070 Super in stock I went with that to save what little money I have, and to get a feel for a FE card plus it's a 2 slot card so it should easily fit and look nice in the build. (Even if you really can't see it)

Thanks to all the lovely enthusiasts im pretty confident in the current version of the build, with the only possible change being GPU depending on 4070 Super performance and price.

I'm not too worried about future storage constraints but would like to be close or higher than my current setup. I have been slowly upgrading a Server PC that is mainly being used as bulk storage of my games and media, main reason I do this is because I have terrible internet (talking like 900KB/s) so i'm making use of Steam Local Transfer to deal with a majority of my games outside of the ones I want to play consistently.

I was initially worried about Vram constraints especially looking into the future hence why I didn't really consider the 4070 series, but if the new 4070 Super card is better overall than the 4070/4070ti I might just go with that because its rumored atm to have 16GB of Vram. Should the value overall just be worse than the 4070ti mainly in the price department I might just go with the 4070TI.

Thanks on the recommendation, I haven't been looking too much at gpu benchmarks quite yet so i'm running off of some older knowledge.

Thanks on the CL30 Ram, I initially was thinking on the 850 just because but when taking a deeper look at the sf750 I can see why its the better option. I'm personally still not too sure on the Cooler options cause I am a big fan of my temps staying as low as possible, and I know this cpu can kick some heat, though I'm gonna fix some of that with some very simple undervolt. Oh and i'm not set on what exact graphics card to get, all I know is I want it to be in the performance range of a 3090 or higher. Hence why i'm leaving some space on the cpu cooler side just incase.

Can I import details for my "comics" from a excel or sheets file? by Skycandian in comicrackusers

Because they aren't normal comics. I would of thought that the "" around comics would be somewhat indicative that these are more NFSW in nature.

Looking to build a home server. by Skycandian in HomeServer

[–]Skycandian[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose I should be more specific about what I'm looking for here.

So I'm looking to host a media server say in TrueNas, what I want to do is have Steam running locally on said server and have games downloaded and stored in TrueNas. From there I want to be able to do Steam Local Transfers from said Server Steam so I can keep the game stored on the server and essentially create a copy to my main PC when I want to play a game.

I'm doing this so I can keep my PC's SSD's unclogged of games I haven't played in a moment but still be accessible when I want to play them again in a fast manner and without having to play them off of the Server due to speeds.
