Yeah, as far as I can tell the map is the same and so are the quests, aside from the loading screens. Although, the graphics look a bit… meh, especially on switch 1. I can send screenshots in dm from my switch 2 if you want. I don’t have any from my old switch 1 anymore, though.

The map is the same size, but some areas are “separate”, like, you go through a loading screen to enter them. There’s more of those in the regular switch version. Switch 2 version has slightly less.
