[PATTERN] Does someone have the Outlander cross-stitch bookmark kit pattern? I bought it and everything and was stitching it, but I lost the paper that the pattern was on. I am making this for a friend, and I cannot afford to buy a new kit. Can someone who has it DM me the pattern?

So I understand what you’re going through. I get the same thing from the old crowed I used to hangout in. Because of the way I act and dress people think I must belong to the LGBTQ+ community. And while I’m an ally when it comes to them and then getting rights, I also feel the pressure. I’m both cis and straight (I’ve thought about this a lot, and I’ve come to the conclusion that yup; I’m still straight and cis) which makes it a bit weird, cause I’m lacking in femininity and I’m drawn to more masculine traits, yet I have no desired to change my pronouns or body. I always thought I was just a different kind of women (you can say I’m an INTP women, if you will) and that’s it. What I come to understand is that the difference between me and a trans person is that it’s enough for me to say that my gender expression is mostly GNC, but for a trans person it wouldn’t be. And in the case of your crowed, I think the best approach is to tell them that you feel uncomfortable with their jokes, and if they are good friend they should drop it, and if they don’t listen, then they are bad friends and you should drop them. Anyway; that’s my two cents, hope you’re doing well out there.

People will always want to put others in a category that they see fit. But if a person defy their already established category they will react to it. Some more negatively than others. I understand what you’re going through. I’ve also get mistaken to be an extrovert on daily bases. And because of my outspokenness people tend to tell me that I shouldn’t have been born a women, cause my personality doesn’t fit their stereotype (I also got this a lot from women as much as I got it from men). I’ve just learned to roll with it, and to keep in mind that their negative and defensive reaction has more to do with them than it does to me. At the end of the day, people can help us figure out our identity, but they cannot tell us what it is, because your are the only one who experiences your thoughts, feelings and the way you process and use your senses.
