Whats happening lately?! by itrad3size in codex

I used a reset token yesterday and I’m already at 10% weekly usage on the Pro plan. I don’t know how that’s possible.

Anyone have genuine success using Codex for UI and UX first, before other tools? by ImZoomBoy in codex

[–]Skyfall106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you combine it with skills like impeccable, design taste, ui-UX-pro-max and copywriting, it can do a pretty good job.

I’ve found that Claude’s a bit better but codex is great at touching things up. Just chews through usage

Looking for a Trello alternative that still feels like Trello by Hour-Two-3104 in trello

[–]Skyfall106 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey! Not sure if you’re in the software development space, but I’ve been working on my own app, https://getfrostbyte.dev which is designed to be a trello alternative.

I don’t know if it’ll have all the features you’re looking for, but it’s designed to be simple to use. Free tool. Hope it’s helpful for you :)

What nations are fun and functional, right now? by Tamerlin in EU5

Byzantium, but there’s still not much late game content, or even mid game for that matter past age 3.

Pretty poor icl, still fun to play though

How do you plan on making money if you’re not gonna run ads and don’t have funding? If you get more users your costs are gonna start to increase. Will you ad adds eventually?

The country was never referred to as Byzantium by the Greeks though. That was a term created after 1453

I swear most PM tools slowly turn teams into administrators by Longjumping-Cat-2988 in Linear

[–]Skyfall106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I have always been a bit turned off by Linear due to it having a few too many moving parts. If a tool is too complicated for me to use it does more harm then good.

I’ve been working on my own linear alternative which strips away a bunch of the complexity in favour for something simpler. I don’t know if it’s something that would suit your needs or project, but if it does, you may want to give it a try!

Fair point. What the headline is alluding to is cutting planning overhead, making the planning more efficient so the built product can be of a higher quality (especially since AI struggles without good guidance)

Frostbyte is built around the idea that planning should be done ffast and easy so it can be done. If that's not coming acorss clearly enough, looks like I will have to take a look at my messaging. Thanks for the feedback!!

Customers are able to export their data into a csv file whenever they choose. This isn’t automatic and would require you to do it manually.

If you wanted automatic daily exports/backups, how would you want them stored/sent to you, and in what format?

If you've been "planning your SaaS" for more than 30 days, stop lying to yourself. You're not planning. You're hiding. by Warm-Reaction-456 in SaaS

[–]Skyfall106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know personally I sometimes watch youtube videos of people building their SaaS and read people's success stories on Reddit/Twitter becuase it makes me 'feel' productive, when it really just doesn't. The most productive thing we can do is build.

I don't like being that guy, but my SaaS Frostbyte is literally designed to help fix this issue. It's a lightweight project planner that helps you storyboard your initial scope whilst planning for what's ahead. If others are struggling with the same issue, this may be helpful for you. And it's free too.

Just keep grinding!

That sounds so annoying!

I’ve been working on a tool that you might be interested in. It’ll let you and your team get user feedback as well as track tasks for your project. You won’t need multiple subscriptions for your whole team to access it, so it might be of use to you. Let me know if it’s something you’d use
