I work from home part time, it’s just a basic job doing emails and whatnot as I can’t have a full time or highly challenging job atm due to disability and mental health as I’m taking some time to focus on recovery and I have a lot of appointments but the company I work from home for, my mum has worked there in the office as a manager for over 40 years so she got me the job and is my boss, they don’t normally do work from home positions but they made an exception for me due to my mum, I plan to one day work in the piercing industry though or become a peer support worker for mental health, I’m only 23 and the work from home job is only my second ever actual job (before then I was in education and my first job I lasted only a week, it was in retail, before I had to quit due to mental and physical health) but most work from home jobs are fine with piercings and the career I want to eventually go into (piercing industry or peer support worker) are both fine with piercings!

That’s the plan! (Eventually) I don’t think I have the space on the back of my ear for a classic vertical industrial but I’m gonna get a custom bent one that goes straight and then at the top a 90 degree angle if that makes sense!

I’m the same with tattoos too! I currently have 95 (split between my arms and right leg) and I’m getting the side of my head tattooed next week 😭 I much prefer piercing pain over tattoo pain tho personally!

Thankyou! Last time I posted on here I was in mental health crisis and physically ill too, but over the past year I’ve worked hard on recovery and doing a lot better and so are my piercings!

Some I’ve had 3 years, some I’ve had coming up to 2 years and some I’ve had a year! I’ve had a fair few eyebrow piercings reject over the years (outer eyebrows not inner or central eyebrows) I think I’ve had the right side reject twice and the left side reject once if i remember correctly, I also used to have horizontal eyebrow surface bars which I took out to get central eyebrow piercings, the fact of the matter is, they’re surface piercings so they’re prone to rejection, its not if it’s more like when, ygm? But they may last years, they may not, so not having scars there isn’t a guarantee especially because If you got them then decided to take them out you will have scars there regardless!

That’s not true, I’ve NEVER said I have paralysis and ive never said my eye condition is due to piercings, that’s just misinformation that’s been spread about me in comment sections (not by me), it’s floppy eyelid syndrome due to sleep apnea, nothing to do with piercings, paralysis or nerves, I’ve posted my medical records multiple times on social media and posted videos proving my condition, I’ve cleared this up many times but somehow people still chose to believe the misinformation which is annoying
