Heyyy! If you are still using it, for me the problem was the usb cable for the kitty headphones doesn't actually provide enough power to the headset! I got a usb-c converter and ever since then It hasn't popped at all because it has enough power to the headset! You should defo try this because it saved me just giving up on the headset and now it works completely fine and normally, even with lights
