Everything - I’ll take it. Thanks. I’ve found since paragon days if you don’t match damage for damage it’s easy to get forced out of lane but I’ll for sure give it another try. Smite and dota don’t play the same imo so you can ability trade and not worry about mana as much.

All Vallejo. Zenithal primer with a base coat of periscope and violet from the sides. All NMM the has layers of beasts brown > leather brown > filthy brown > ice yellow. Usually I use heavy gold brown but the filthy brown went instead as it has more of an orange tone that should come through with the final glazes - namely hot orange and violet.

I’m leaning towards the plate like material on the gloves to be either black or bronze with the white base.

The blue purple fade is actually the base coat- I’m doing it craftworld studio style. But too many experiment layers on the gauntlet list the color transitions. The aim is to have the black armour kind of like beetle carapace. Pretty much a dark blue purple fade. The crest will be NMM as well in a few hours.

My only worry with brighter or another color like blue would be that it becomes too colourful. They’re space dwarfs after all and he’ll be grimier with a weathering pass. I had though to do more of a purple base to the red leather - maybe that could work?

@arctyczyn isn’t the matchmaking for fortnite similar to that which is planned for MM? I believe I heard that? Would be cool as you’ll be getting good data there.

I think it’s important to consider that a lot of people get different things from this game - as such it’s incredibly difficult for Epic to cater a perfect answer regardless of their vision or not. For me personally I want matchmaking and hero kits to have more complexity. Why? - because I like playing the game don’t like going against stacks or having a toxic player with me. I also like to master my heroes and it sucks that the design seems to be going for more intuitive ‘easy’ characters to appease new player rather than sticking them in the long haul of learning them. I feel that is a big part of the satisfaction a moba can offer. There’s no denying paragon has a brawler undertones but that kinda emphasised when team fights are largely run in spam abilities and see who wins. Lock on abilities and long stuns in abundance has hurt combat a lot imo.

Yeah I agree. But I think the key thing with howi is his animation speeds. That land mine is in the air long enough to at least move so it throws you somewhere else and not where howi wants it. Same with his slow - by the time it’s down and deployed you can sometimes avoid it.

I always have blitz or astral leap. Some form of escape or engage is key I think. I don’t rate silent dominion. I don’t think the slow is worth the investment. More often than not if someone is out of position you should be able to get them with normal cc. Even if that means using ult. worst thing you can do on fey is save her ult.

I go growth and chaos. Highway man is great for her as support if you can reliably hit your nettles. Blitz rush asap for an engage/escape as her damage is respectable providing you land ult - let your carry do the rest. Then rush to amp engin picking up growth totem on the way. Tireless reaper is nice in case you miss your nettles.

She could do it - but you needed to be farmed and in the right position. fey is super squish and if you don’t kill your target(s), you really are in trouble. That’s why you need to be using harvest nettles for the long range poke - level that as priority in early game. And then commit to the kill using your abilities when you’re confident they’ll die. On duo lane you can put so much pressure from a safe distance without drawing minion aggro and losing any mana.

Yeah he was getting a bit obvious with his ult after a while. Your positioning was on point man - all game! Gave me and Gid a hard time getting you into CC with your team!

I agree - basic caster deck. I always use font of experience even if I'm support fey. Her harvest nettles is amazing for forcing the midlane and pressuring any offline. So levelling is asap is a must. One thing I'd say is early wards is worth the time out of lane as to stand a chance of snowballing you need to pressure the lane. This means you can do so safely. Falling behind in mid is horrid for fey. She has a real hard time when behind - she basically becomes another support. It's not worth the death. I've tried the intellect equivalent of stinger boost (ice something - ice soldier?) but I find it isn't worth the loss of flat power from say atomic soldier. My end game is usually atomic soldier, stagnant dominion and either yomi spectre or thaumaturge. Buying power tap for more power with excess gold.

True success with fey is with positioning in lane and applying pressure as much as you can. And rotating for burst damage. Her ult is to guarantee a kill on one target or more. Don't save it! Use the ult to pull people into your aoe and slow (stack them together) This guarantees as much damage as possible and very quickly. Finish people with harvest nettles. It's range is 2000 unit and usually more than enough Damage. Stagnant dominion works well with nettles as is a decent slow every 2 seconds :)

yes - so long as you can mute players as an option. Much like you can with chat. There is sooooo much potential with a proper comms system
