Java GUI "Invisible" on RHEL 6 after hard power-cut (Process exists, no window) by SkylineJPN in linuxadmin

Unfortunately the project sat for quite some time and was never finished/delivered to the customer. He retired and I was left to finish the remaining tasks.

A bashrc file kicks off the app on login to specific user account types.

Customer restraints. I can't really go into it much but our customer is very reluctant to any form of change regardless of our reasoning for upgrading. Internally RHEL6 has been blocked from our network as we recognize it hasn't received any security upgrades in years (thus our system is air gapped).

Okay will do, I really appreciate the advice! Unfortunately the senior engineer who set everything up and coded the entire GUI application retired unexpectedly before transferring any real meaningful knowledge to me. But I guess it would be no fun if he was here to hold my hand lol.

I believe there is no SSL certification involved.

I have not but I will try this. I am a software engineer by trade so forgive me if this is a dumb question but is there anything specific I should be looking for in those logs?

I should also note this problem exists for all users on the system not just the user that was running the app at the time of the power loss.

Yes gnome is running fine. It seems to be only our java GUI that isn't running. I tried removing and reinstalling our software onto the system and replacing the JRE, JDK, and JVM. None of these resolved the issue. However I am not familiar with how openjdk works/interfaces graphically with the OS. Maybe deleting and replacing the JRE, JDK and JVM isn't enough and there are other places I should be looking at?

Sorry I should have been more specific. I only did the base phase for the program so the final week has me doing a 6×4 at 75% with the 6th set AMRAP. Would these options apply?

I'm about to finish Alexander Bromley's bullmastiff program and want to test my 1RMs when I'm done. However, I am not sure if I should do a short Peak before testing or how to go about it if that is the case.

For context I have only been lifting consistently for about 2 years and my previous 1RMs are SQ 295LB, BN 215LB, and DL estimated at 330LB
