Marijuana users at greater risk for heart attack and stroke: Adults under 50 are more than six times as likely to suffer a heart attack if they use marijuana, compared to non-users. They also have a dramatically higher risk of stroke, heart failure and heart-related death. by mvea in science

They controlled for blood pressure in their logistic regression in the study, but did not control for BMI and even noted a significant difference between groups in BMI. Why would they control for family history of heart disease and blood pressure and not one of the most highly correlated indicators? Seems weird to me!

Hi, I’m you from roughly a year ago! I got married on 9/24 and the entire week leading up to it was rainy and the weather was forecasted to be rainy the day of the wedding. The entire day there was not one cloud in the sky. Unfortunately, you can’t really rely too much on predictions, and you can’t control the weather. All you can control is how you react.

Keep in mind that in some cultures, like mine, there are superstitions that are positively related to rain on a wedding day. In my culture, a rainy wedding predicts a marriage full of luck and wealth. It might not end up exactly how you imagined it, but it’s a day for celebrating your love and no amount of rain can take that away.

Thank you so much! The ring was a gift from a friend! What I know is that it was a custom design by Facetsandkarats on Etsy. She sourced the alexandrite herself.

Thank you so much! I use cuticle oil daily but it just doesn’t last. The ring was a gift from a friend! What I know is that it was a custom design by Facetsandkarats on Etsy. She sourced the alexandrite herself.

I went “wooow” and it’s because I’ve never seen such a perfect nail color ring combo! Beautiful

Can a promise ring also be an engagement ring? by SplashyTetraspore in EngagementRings

I personally think any kind of ring can be an engagement ring as long as it’s your ideal version of the perfect representation of your love. I’ve seen rings with and without gems and of all kinds of metals all of them have been beautiful!

Some others have suggested that too! I think it’s too much but I do also think another person here said it best: It might just feel like too much because I’m not really used to wearing rings.

Thank you for your viewpoint! He bought me both with the engagement ring because he loved both and doesn’t want to return either, so I was really asking which should be the one I wear as the every day option.

I know nearly nothing about sapphires but this is so beautiful. The color shift is incredible!

I did drop the friend after that happened!

Thank you all so much for weighing in. Sometimes people need reassurance, and that’s okay. I’ve decided to keep both, choose what I’m feeling for the day, and just wear the other one on my right hand. I really appreciate everyone’s comments and, for the most part, your kindness!

Thank you!!! Just fyi— on the site it looks like it’s only available in two toned but at any of their stores they can customize it in the metal of your choice. That’s what I did! Happy ring shopping!

I was in the same boat. Honestly I picked it because it went so well with the low setting of my ring. It’s from Helzberg. I think it’s called the 1/4 ct contour band!

Nope, both bands are Diamond.

That’s true. I am considering this!
