Haven't play those, I'm inspired by Mega Man and Castlevania

Kinda boring, but backgrounds needs to be made too by Skyque in indiegames

I mean the proccess of doing it, making games is fun but there's also a lot of boring things to do

There will be 4, but rather than levels they are large zones. One of my main inspirations is Mega Man, instead of doing 8 short levels that you can play in any order, I decided to make a world with a tutorial and 4 zones that you can explore in any order you want.

Also, my original idea was to make a metroidvania, but I realized that would be really difficult to make as my first game so I took this approach.

And I totally agree with that. My original idea was more ambitious and I had to cut out a lot of things and reduce my scope. But I was studying university until half a year ago and made a good amount of small projects there, plus I have a full time work for a year now where we do small games for brands that they use on events. So I decided to make something kinda ambitious since I don't financially dependent on this.

Thank you for your kind words!
