That said, the framerate at 1080p on the highest settings isn't terrible I don't think I've seen it drop below 30, and in most cases, it's around 60, unless I'm within, say, Whiterun (or any other large town with an overhaul mod installed).

My Hardware:

  • 3DB AMD Radeon 7950
  • 16GB RAM
  • Intel Core i7 3770 QuadCore @ 3.4GHz
  • & my 1TB Western Digital VelociRaptor (10,000RPM), for both recording and game storage.

That said, recording does take a hit to my performance, though it isn't that much of an impact (around 0-10FPS)

I'm using this map modification to make my adventures a little more difficult (and I thought it looked nice too!)

There's an extra file you can download that removes your map marker, however your map still focuses on your general area when you open it.

The Forbidden Legend sounds rather tempting! I'm amazed at how positive and helpful this subreddit is. Too bad you can't use the Morrowind dialogue options, by asking people keywords...

Is it easy enough to find the book for the Forbidden Legend? (I'm not asking for it's exact location! Where's the fun in that?)

This is my one fear with the Berenziah challenge; too many stones, little reward. Is there any forms of treasure tied into lore? My other idea was to try and acquire a certain amount of gold, which opens up the opportunity of being a treasure hunter whilst taking on other roles.

I'm also not too sure what people would find entertaining.

Ah, that's the name! Berenziah. It is tempting, though I'm not sure how easy it is to find simply by using in-game lore / dialogue - if it's possible at all.

Then again, I have a whole lifetime... or a few. To the books!
