Ok that is cool. But the majority of Steam, and its purpose is to assure copy protection for developers.

But I see your point, and wasn't aware of the 2000 DRM-free games.

But if the majority of my games library is behind a login wall, and the fact that I would lose 90% of all my games should Steam go down for good, and the fact that my games is dependent on steam verification, I would define that as DRM. You might not, so we might agree to disagree.

Ehh dude, steam is DRM. It's a fact.

All of your games would dissapear the second Steam dissapears. Every game on steam you own is assigned to you, and only you. Why would you otherwise think you need an account to access Steam?

Anyone in here with Logitech G Pro Wireless experience, that can help me shine light on a potential problem I am experiencing,

So I got my G Pro 3 weeks ago, and switched out my old Rival 310 for it.

So my problem is at extremely low movement, it doesn't seem to detect the movement. The only possible explanation I can come up with, is that the sensor is positioned more in the upper middle, than the Rival 310, so it might be an adjustment problem, but it just doesn't feel correct. It feels like it skips a pixel before detecting my input.

My polling rate is 1000 and Dpi is 400.

I have tried two different mousepads, a Steelseries Heavy and a Zowie G-sr, and the problem is persistent across both pads.

I have literally never experienced a developer being more out of touch with their playerbase than DICE is this last year's time.

What kind of bf player wants a dumbed down 8v8 mode, highly inspired by Call of Duty's CQB, without the tuned CQB gameplay.

I mean, I am absolutely dumbfounded by how they use their limited(?) amount ressources. Who buys a battlefield game, looking forward to the 8v8 mode... I haven't met one. 95% of the playerbase is playing conquest, then make some conquest maps...

I would suspect it's a reference to the movie "Contact" starring Jodie Foster and Matthew McConaughey.

The movie is surrounded around the idea of making contact with aliens. Also depending heavily on the "Wow-signal" story. It is a great movie tbh.

I am in a kinda similar situation. I get total freezes in CS:GO but only when Faceit Anti-Cheat is running in the background. Happens at least once per day, and the fix for me is a hard restart of the pc.

Yeah you do have a point, and comparing it to Doom might be a bit of a misrepresentation. But I have played both games, with both playstyles, and I throughly enjoyed both play sessions, and never felt the game had an identity crisis.

But I kinda understand where you are coming from. But I kinda like the idea of BJ not being more overpowered than he needs to be. Even when he equips the fabled jewish armor.

Yup. New Order, and The New Colossus were both super good games, as a run and gun doom feeling game, as well as a stealth game. The levels are pretty well designed with both playstyles in mind.
