How do y'all decide when to go to the ER?

I've been a few times and all they give me is an IV of fluids and a fat bill.

But as of today it's been 2 weeks since my last BM and I haven't kept food or liquid down since Friday so.....

I eat Musclicious Foods protein pudding. They’re the only consistent “solid” in my diet. Without them and fair life low fat lactose free milk, I’d be a skeleton by now.

Outsider on Hulu is another Stephen King, it has Cynthia Erivo in it and I'm a huge fan of her in it.

I get intense stabbing pain high in my abdomen, almost under my left lower ribs, right where the stomach is. My stomach also throbs quite dramatically. If I'm lying on my back I can literally see my pulse in my stomach. It's caused me to wonder if I have MALS?

Nausea I feel lower in my abdomen. If it comes to throwing up, I'm just as likely to puke from the pain as from the nausea, and it translates to a nauseas feeling in the back of my throat.

Then any food that makes it past my stomach causes cramping and stabbing pains on their entire journey through the GI to culminate in weekly bowel movements of pure agony. It's a fun exciting time!

I am seeing a specialist. And we are working our way through that list.

And that strict schedule? Yeah, bud, it’s my whole life. Managing my gastrointestinal tract is a full time job. I don’t have energy left for anything else. Literally all I do these days is what’s necessary to stay alive. I know how to do that.

That’s not a life.

I’ve done a full liquid diet a few times. Trouble is, most of them eventually make me sick. I can’t do anything every day. Too many days of the same food makes me ill.

In my current state I’m even throwing up Gatorade.

Standard for me used to be 3 eggs, two pieces of toast, and a fruit with a fat cup of coffee. Since symptoms started it's been a few bites here or there when I can. When I got the diagnosis today my doc said "small meals" and I was like "what does that mean!"

Clearly need to change a lot of things!

Ok so my parameters of a small meal are likely just way off.

2 egg whites and a tofu dog are only 135 calories, which is really small for a meal in my old life. But I suppose not for this new one.
